ఐసీసీ ప్రపంచ టెస్టు ఛాంపియన్​షిప్​ పాయింట్ల పట్టికలో టీమ్ఇండియా రెండోస్థానానికి చేరుకుంది. ఇంగ్లాండ్​తో జరిగిన రెండోటెస్టులో గెలుపుతో ఈ టోర్నీ ఫైనల్​కు చేరుకునేందుకు భారత జట్టు అవకాశాలు మెరుగయ్యాయి.

ఇంగ్లాండ్​తో జరిగిన రెండోటెస్టులో ఘనవిజయంతో.. ఐసీసీ ప్రపంచ టెస్టు ఛాంపియన్​షిప్​ పాయింట్ల పట్టికలో (69.7%) టీమ్ఇండియా రెండో స్థానానికి చేరుకుంది. మరోవైపు 67.0 విజయ శాతంతో ఇంగ్లాండ్​ జట్టు నాలుగో స్థానానికి పడిపోయింది.

ఫైనల్​కు చేరాలంటే..

ప్రపంచ టెస్టు ఛాంపియన్​షిప్ తుదిపోరు​​కు న్యూజిలాండ్ జట్టు ఇప్పటికే అర్హత సాధించింది. ఈ టోర్నీ ఫైనల్​కు భారత జట్టు చేరాలంటే ఇంగ్లీష్​ జట్టును 2-1 లేదా 3-1 తేడాతో సిరీస్​ గెలుపొందాల్సిఉంది. ఒకవేళ ఈ సిరీస్​లో 3-1తో గెలిస్తే ఇంగ్లాండ్​ ఫైనల్​కు చేరుతుంది.
