బీసీసీఐ సీఈఓ రాహుల్ జోహ్రీ నేడు క్రీడాశాఖ అధికారులను కలవనున్నారు. సౌతాఫ్రికా ఏ, మహిళా జట్ల పర్యటన వివరాలపై స్పష్టత కోసం ఈ సమావేశం జరగనుంది. ఈ రెండు పర్యటనలకు క్రీడాశాఖ ఇంకా అనుమతి ఇవ్వని కారణంగానే జోహ్రీ.. క్రీడాశాఖ సెక్రటరీ రాధే శ్యామ్ జులానియాతో భేటీ కానున్నారు.
సౌతాఫ్రికా ఏ, మహిళా జట్ల టోర్నీలు ఆగస్టు చివరి వారంలో, సెప్టెంబర్లో జరగనున్నాయి. ప్రతి పర్యటనకు వీసా అనుమతులు సజావుగా సాగేందుకు క్రీడా శాఖ అనుమతి తీసుకోవడం తప్పనిసరి. ఈ పర్యటనల కోసం ఇంకా క్రీడాశాఖ నుంచి క్లియరెన్స్ రాలేదు. ఇందుకు పేపర్ వర్క్ ఆలస్యమే కారణమని బీసీసీఐ అధికారి ఒకరు తెలిపారు.
మరో కారణం ఏంటంటే జాతీయ డోపింగ్‌ వ్యతిరేక సంస్థ (నాడా) పరిధిలోకి రావాల్సిందేనని బీసీసీఐకి క్రీడా మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఎప్పటినుంచో చెబుతోంది. అయితే తమది స్వతంత్ర సంస్థ అని నాడా పరిధిలోకి వచ్చేందుకు నిరాకరిస్తోంది బీసీసీఐ. అందువల్లనే క్రీడాశాఖ.. ఈ పర్యటనలకు అనుమతులను ఆలస్యం చేస్తోందని తెలుస్తోంది.
