ఆర్థిక మందగమనం నేపథ్యంలో ఉన్న డబ్బును జాగ్రత్తగా కాపాడుకోవాల్సిన పరిస్థితి. అదే సమయంలో కాస్త మంచి రాబడి వచ్చేలా పెట్టుబడి మార్గాలనూ చూసుకోవాలి. బ్యాంకు డిపాజిట్లపై వడ్డీ తగ్గిపోతున్న క్రమంలో ఉన్నంతలో మంచి రాబడిని అందించే పథకాలేమిటో తెలుసుకుందాం..
అధిక రాబడినిచ్చే మదుపు మార్గాలు
చేతిలో కొంత డబ్బు ఉన్నప్పుడు దాన్ని అధిక రాబడి వచ్చేలా ఎక్కడ డిపాజిట్‌ చేయాలనే సందేహం చాలామందికి వస్తుంది. బ్యాంకులో చూస్తే.. వడ్డీ అంత ఆకర్షణీయంగా లేదు. బయట తెలిసిన వారికి ఇస్తే వడ్డీ సంగతి ఎలా ఉన్నా.. అసలుకు ఎసరు వచ్చే అవకాశం చాలా ఎక్కువ. కాబట్టి, తక్కువ నష్టభయంతో.. ఎఫ్‌డీలకన్నా ఎక్కువ రాబడినిచ్చే పథకాలను ఎంచుకోవడమే ఇప్పుడున్న పరిస్థితుల్లో కీలకం.
డెట్ మ్యూచువల్ ఫండ్లు..
కార్పొరేట్‌ బాండ్లు, ప్రభుత్వ రుణాలు, ట్రెజరీ బిల్లులు, ఇతర నగదు ఆధారిత పథకాల్లో పెట్టుబడి పెడతాయివి. స్వల్పకాలంలో హెచ్చుతగ్గులు ఉన్నా.. మూడు నుంచి ఐదేళ్ల వ్యవధిలో బ్యాంకు ఫిక్స్‌డ్‌ డిపాజిట్లలకన్నా ఎక్కువ వడ్డీ వచ్చే అవకాశాలు ఎక్కువే. పెట్టుబడి పెట్టినప్పటి నుంచి మూడేళ్లలోపు అమ్మితే వచ్చిన లాభాలపై స్వల్పకాలిక మూలధన రాబడి పన్ను చెల్లించాల్సి వస్తుంది. మూడేళ్ల తర్వాత యూనిట్లను విక్రయిస్తే.. దీర్ఘకాలిక మూలధన లాభాన్ని ద్రవ్యోల్బణానికి సర్దుబాటు చేసి, మిగిలిన మొత్తంపై పన్ను చెల్లించాలి. డెట్ ఫండ్లలో పెట్టుబడుల్లో కాస్త తక్కువ ఆటుపోట్లు ఉంటాయి. నష్టభయం తక్కువగానే ఉంటుందని చెప్పొచ్చు. వీటితోపాటు బ్యాలెన్స్‌డ్‌ మ్యూచువల్ ఫండ్లనూ పరిశీలించవచ్చు.
పోస్టాఫీసు పథకాలు..
బ్యాంకులతో పోల్చుకుంటే.. పోస్టాఫీసు పథకాల్లో పెట్టే డిపాజిట్లపై వచ్చే వడ్డీ కాస్త ఎక్కువగానే ఉంది. ప్రస్తుతం 1-3 ఏళ్ల డిపాజిట్‌ పథకాలపై 6.9శాతం, ఐదేళ్ల డిపాజిట్‌పై 7.7శాతం వడ్డీ లభిస్తోంది. నెలసరి ఆదాయం కావాలి అనుకునే వారు పోస్టాఫీసు నెలసరి ఆదాయ పథకాన్ని ఎంచుకోవచ్చు. దీనిపైన 7.6శాతం వడ్డీ వస్తోంది. పోస్టాఫీసులో పెట్టిన డిపాజిట్లను గడువు లోపే ఉపసంహరించుకుంటే.. కొన్నిసార్లు ఎక్కువ అపరాధ రుసుము చెల్లించాల్సి వస్తుంది. వ్యవధి తీరేంత వరకూ అవసరం ఉండదు అనుకున్న మొత్తాన్నే ఈ పథకాల్లో పొదుపు చేయడం ఉత్తమం.
ప్రభుత్వం పొదుపు పథకాలు..
పబ్లిక్‌ ప్రావిడెంట్‌ ఫండ్‌ (పీపీఎఫ్‌) వ్యవధి 15 ఏళ్లు ఉంటుంది. పదేళ్ల లోపు అమ్మాయిలు ఉన్న వారు సుకన్య సమృద్ధి యోజనను ఎంచుకోవచ్చు. పెద్దలు.. పోస్టాఫీసు సీనియర్‌ సిటిజెన్‌ పొదుపు పథకాలను పరిశీలింవచ్చు. వీటిలో నిర్ణీత వ్యవధిలోపు తీసుకోవాలంటే పలు నిబంధనలు ఉంటాయి. అపరాధ రుసుమునూ చెల్లించాల్సి వస్తుంది. ఈ పెట్టుబడులన్నింటికీ ఆదాయపు పన్ను చట్టం సెక్షన్‌ 80సీ మినహాయింపులు నిబంధనల మేరకు వర్తిస్తాయి. దీర్ఘకాలిక లక్ష్యాల కోసం మదుపు చేసేందుకు ఇవి అనువుగా ఉంటాయి.
ప్రైవేటు బ్యాంకుల్లో..
ఖాతాదారులను ఆకట్టుకునేందుకు కొన్ని ప్రైవేటు బ్యాంకులు అధిక వడ్డీ ఆశ చూపిస్తున్నాయి. ఉదాహరణకు ప్రభుత్వ బ్యాంకులు పొదుపు ఖాతాలో ఉన్న మొత్తంపై 3.5శాతం వడ్డీనిస్తుంటే.. కోటక్, ఎస్, ఆర్‌బీఎల్‌ తదితర బ్యాంకులు కొన్ని నిబంధనలకు లోబడి 6%-7% వరకూ ఇస్తున్నాయి. ఆదాయపు పన్ను నిబంధనల ప్రకారం పొదుపు ఖాతా పైన వచ్చే వడ్డీ మీద సెక్షన్‌ 80టీటీఏ ప్రకారం రూ.10,000 వరకూ పన్ను మినహాయింపు వర్తిస్తుంది. ఎప్పుడంటే అప్పుడు నగదు కావాలి అనుకునే వారు వీటిని పరిశీలించవచ్చు. వీటితోపాటు ఫ్లెక్సీ డిపాజిట్లనూ ఎంచుకోవచ్చు.
పేమెంట్ బ్యాంకులు
ఇండియా పోస్ట్, ఎయిర్‌టెల్, పేటీఎం, జియో తదితర పేమెంట్ బ్యాంకులూ ఎక్కువ వడ్డీని అందిస్తున్నాయి. వీటి లావాదేవీలన్నీ ఆన్‌లైన్‌లోనే ఉంటాయి. కాబట్టి, ఆన్లైన్ గురించి అంతగా తెలియని వారికి వీటిని నిర్వహించడం కష్టం కావచ్చు. అదే సమయంలో ఖాతాలో రూ.లక్షకు మించి స్వీకరించే అవకాశం ఉండదు.

LEADIN:
A team of pro-democracy supporters in Hong Kong has created a dance video that tells the story of recent protests.
The current anti-government movement is in its seventh month, sparked by the now withdrawn Fugitives Offenders Ordinance, which would have allowed the extradition of Hong Kong residents to mainland China.
STORYLINE:
Dressed in black, wearing gas masks and hard hats and brandishing sticks and homemade shields, these dancers are telling the story of Hong Kong's protests through dance.
The choreography is urban, the performers portray protestors.
This group of amateur dancers, formed of graduates of a Hong Kong university, have made a dance video that recreates scenes of Hong Kong protests over the past seven months.
They hope to use music and dance to connect people with the social movement.
Danzmocracy, a group of over 30 alumni from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology choreographed and produced the dance video.
Now working in different professions and industries, they dress up as frontline and peaceful protesters and dance in different protest locations around Hong Kong.
Juno, 36, is one of the group's organizers.
He doesn't want to disclose his real Chinese name or show his full face to protect his anonymity. The dancers also disguise their faces with masks in the group's videos.
"We dressed like the protesters, the frontliners that we so-called, and then we held some kind of like sticks or the shields. Harry, 37, another one of the group's organizers who's also claiming anonymity, says he hopes their performance will encourage Hong Kong's people to be strong and united.
"In these recent six to seven months, we are shocked by the government who uses tyranny to face Hong Kong people, and we feel very shocked about police brutality and we are also very shocked about Hong Kong people who stand for the freedom and who stand for their home," he says.
"So, we would like to make a dance video to give some encouragement to the Hong Kong people to be strong and united and stand with a society we love."
Harry believes dance and music is a universal language that can be understood by all.
"We choose dance and music because we thought that art and music can easily unite people, no matter what language they speak, no matter what is their view. And I think art can just easily connect different people," he says.
In one scene in the video, group members climbed up to Lion Rock, a local landmark which symbolizes Hong Kong people's spirit, at sunrise.
That part of the video is set to "Glory to Hong Kong", a protest anthem adopted by the demonstrators last year.
A former British colony, Hong Kong was returned to China in 1997.
While the framework of "one country, two systems" promises the city greater democratic rights than are afforded to the mainland, protesters say their freedoms have been steadily eroding under Chinese President Xi Jinping.
Frictions between democracy-minded Hongkongers and the Communist Party-ruled central government in Beijing came to a head last June, when proposed extradition legislation sparked months of mass demonstrations.
The bill - which would have allowed Hong Kong residents to be sent to mainland China to stand trial - has since been withdrawn, but protests have continued for more than seven months, centered around demands for voting rights and an independent inquiry into police conduct.
While the protests began peacefully, they increasingly descended into violence after demonstrators became frustrated with the government's response.
They feel Hong Kong leader Carrie Lam has ignored their demands and used the police to suppress them.
Clashes broke out between protesters and police in Hong Kong on Sunday January 19 2020, cutting short a rally after thousands had gathered at a park to call for electoral reforms and a boycott of the Chinese Communist Party.
"It's like a brief story of what happened in these past seven months in Hong Kong," says 25-year-old dancer Charlie.
"We just want to show that we Hongkongers are not going to fade out or die out after this seven months of effort and we're going to like continue on doing it and hopefully if this video can go viral and probably reach out of Hong Kong, we hope it's going to raise awareness on what's happening in Hong Kong."
The group hopes the video will to go viral on social media and reach viewers outside of Hong Kong.
The dance video can be viewed on Youtube, where it has received over 150,000 views and "Danzmocrazy" Facebook page, where it has recieved over 105,000 views, according to organizers.
