నూతన సంవత్సరం సందర్భంగా దేశంతోపాటు విదేశాల్లో నివసిస్తున్న భారతీయులకు రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్‌నాథ్‌ కోవింద్ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలియజేశారు. "నూతన సంవత్సర కొత్త ఉషస్సు మన జీవితాల్లో శాంతి, శ్రేయస్సు, సౌభ్రాతృత్వ స్ఫూర్తిని పునరుజ్జీవింపజేయాలని ఆకాంక్షిస్తున్నాను. మన సమాజం, దేశంలో పురోగతికి నాంది పలికే యత్నాలతో నూతన సంవత్సరానికి స్వాగతం పలికేలా సంకల్పిద్దాం" అని కోవింద్ ఓ ప్రకటనలో సందేశమిచ్చారు. ఈ నూతన ఏడాది ప్రజలకు ఆయురారోగ్యాలను, విజయ సంబరాలను, ఆనందోత్సాహాలను అందించాలని ఆశిస్తున్నట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
