Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said on Friday that "Cardiff gained a lot of confidence" from their 2-0 victory over Brighton on Tuesday, as his side prepare to face Cardiff City in the English Premier League (EPL) on Sunday.
Brighton hold a two-point advantage over Cardiff in the EPL table and do have a game in hand over Neil Warnock's side, but their daunting run-in includes fixtures against Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham, which means Cardiff's relegation battle remains wide open.
"We have to show that we are ready for this pretty different and difficult fight or battle again," added Klopp.
