ఆస్ట్రేలియా వేదికగా వచ్చే ఏడాది జరగనున్న టీ20 ప్రపంచకప్​కు నమీబియా అర్హత సాధించింది. ఒమన్​పై 54 పరుగుల తేడాతో గెలిచి ఈ టోర్నీలో ఆడే అవకాశం దక్కించుకుంది.

వచ్చే ఏడాది జరగనున్న టీ20 ప్రపంచకప్​కు ఇప్పటికే నెదర్లాండ్స్ జట్టు అర్హత సాధించిది. ఇప్పుడు నమీబియా.. ఆ టోర్నీలో ఆడే అవకాశం దక్కించుకుంది. ఒమన్​తో మంగళవారం జరిగిన మ్యాచ్​లో గెలిచి ఈ మెగాటోర్నీకి క్వాలిఫై అయింది.

దుబాయ్ వేదికగా జరిగిన ఈ మ్యాచ్​లో ఒమన్​పై 54 పరుగుల తేడాతో విజయం సాధించింది నమీబియా. ఆల్​రౌండర్ జేజే స్మిత్ 25 బంతుల్లో 59 పరుగులు చేసి జట్టును విజయతీరాలకు చేర్చాడు. 162 పరుగుల లక్ష్యఛేదనలో బరిలో దిగిన ఒమన్.. 107 పరుగులకే ఆలౌట్​ అయింది. ఇటీవలే ఐర్లాండ్, పుపువా న్యూగినియా జట్లు టీ20 ప్రపంచకప్​కు అర్హత సాధించాయి.

వచ్చే ఏడాది అక్టోబరు 18 నుంచి టీ20 ప్రపంచకప్ ప్రారంభం కానుంది. నవంబరు 15న మెల్‌బోర్న్‌లో ఫైనల్ జరుగుతుంది. ఈ ప్రపంచకప్‌లో ఆస్ట్రేలియా, భారత్, పాకిస్థాన్, ఇంగ్లాండ్, దక్షిణాఫ్రికా, న్యూజిలాండ్, వెస్టిండీస్, అఫ్గానిస్థాన్, శ్రీలంక, బంగ్లాదేశ్​తో సహా మొత్తం 16 జట్లు తలపడనున్నాయి.
