2014 డిసెంబరులో ఆస్ట్రేలియా పర్యటనలో.. భారత్ నాలుగు మ్యాచ్ల టెస్టు సిరీస్ ఆడింది. అడిలైడ్లో జరిగిన టెస్టులో ఇరుజట్లు అద్భుత ప్రదర్శన కనబరిచాయి. కోహ్లీ ఈ మ్యాచ్లో రెండు సెంచరీలు చేసినప్పటికీ.. మైకేల్ క్లర్ సారథ్యంలోని ఆసీస్ జట్టు 48 పరుగులు తేడాతో విజయాన్ని దక్కించుకుంది. తొలి ఇన్నింగ్స్లో 115 పరుగులతో పాటు.. రెండో ఇన్నింగ్స్లో 141 పరుగులు సాధించాడు విరాట్. ఈ సిరీస్ను 2-0 తేడాతో ఆస్ట్రేలియా కైవసం చేసుకుంది.
