తాను తెరకెక్కిస్తున్న 'పవర్​స్టార్'​ సినిమా ఏ వ్యక్తికో చెందిన బయోపిక్​ కాదని స్పష్టం చేశారు దర్శకుడు రామ్​గోపాల్​ వర్మ. ఈ కథ ఎవరి జీవితాన్నైనా పోలిఉంటే అది కేవలం యాదృచ్ఛికం అని తెలిపారు.
