బెంగాలీ స్టార్ డైరెక్టర్ బుద్ధదేవ్ దాస్​గుప్తా గురువారం మృతి చెందారు. ప్రధాని మోదీ, పశ్చిమ బంగా సీఎం దీదీ ఆయన మరణంపై సంతాపం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

ప్రముఖ కవి, దర్శకుడు బుద్ధదేవ్​ దాస్​గుప్తా(77).. అనారోగ్య సమస్యలతో గురువారం మృతి చెందారు. కొంతకాలంగా కిడ్నీ సమస్యతో బాధపడుతున్న ఆయనకు ఆరోగ్యం క్షీణించడం వల్ల కన్నుమూశారు. ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ, పశ్చిమ బంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి మమతా బెనర్జీ.. బుద్ధదేవ్ మృతిపై సంతాపం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఆయన కుటుంబానికి ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి తెలియజేశారు.

దూరత్వా, గ్రిహజుద్ధ, ఆంధీ గాలి, బాస్ బహదూర్, తహదర్ కథ, చారచార్, ఉత్తరా తదితర చిత్రాల ద్వారా దాస్​గుప్తా డైరెక్టర్​గా పేరు తెచ్చుకున్నారు. ఉత్తరా(2000), స్వాప్నర్ దిన్(2005) సినిమాలతో దర్శకుడిగా జాతీయ అవార్డులు దక్కించుకున్నారు. 2019లో సత్యజిత్ రే టైమ్ అచీవ్​మెంట్​ అవార్డును కూడా అందుకున్నారు.
