STORYLINE:
Marc Marquez suffered a dramatic high-speed crash during FP1 at the Thailand MotoGP on Friday.
The Honda hero, who is hoping to seal the championship this weekend with victory at the Chang International Circuit, was flung off when his machine lost grip on entry to Turn 7.
The back of his bike was completely destroyed and Marquez was visibly in pain at the side of the circuit.
However, following a trip to hospital for tests, Marquez was declared fit for a return to the track, where he recovered to post a very respectable sixth place.
