"ఆ ఫొటో చాలా జ్ఞాపకాల్ని గుర్తు చేసింది. 'కూలీ' సినిమా షూటింగ్లో ప్రమాదం జరిగిన తర్వాత అప్పుడే ఇంటికొచ్చాను. ఆ రోజే నాన్న ఏడవడం చూశాను" అని అమితాబ్ రాసుకొచ్చారు.
1982లో బెంగళూరు 'కూలీ' చిత్రీకరణలో అమితాబ్కు తీవ్రగాయాలయ్యాయి. కోలుకోవడానికి కొన్ని నెలలు పట్టింది. అయితే ఆ ప్రమాదం నుంచి బయటపడటం తనకు పునర్జన్మ లాంటిది అని గతంలో చాలాసార్లు బిగ్బీ చెప్పారు. ప్రస్తుతం ఈయన 'ఝండ్', 'బ్రహ్మాస్త్ర', 'చెహ్రే', 'మేడే' సినిమాల్లో నటిస్తూ బిజీగా ఉన్నారు.
