బాలీవుడ్​లో గతవారం విడుదలైన కుటుంబ కథా చిత్రం "ఏక్ లడఖి కో దేఖా తో ఐసా లగా". సోనమ్ కపూర్ కథానాయిక. అనిల్ కపూర్ ప్రత్యేక పాత్రలో నటించారు. నిజజీవితంలో తండ్రీ కూతుళ్లైన వీరిద్దరూ సినిమాలోనూ అదే పాత్రల్లో కనిపించారు. రాజ్​కుమార్ రావ్, జూహీ చావ్లా ఇతర కీలక పాత్రలు పోషించారు.

సినిమా బాగుందని అందరూ మెచ్చుకున్నా వసూళ్లు మాత్రం ఆశించిన స్థాయిలో రాబట్టలేకపోయింది. మొదటి వారంలో కేవలం రూ.13.53 కోట్ల వసూళ్లే సాధించింది.

ఈ సినిమా విడుదల రోజే ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకొచ్చిన కంగనా రనౌత్ "మణికర్ణిక: ది క్వీన్​ ఆఫ్​ ఝాన్సీ", విక్కీకౌషల్ "ఉరీ''.. చిత్రాలు బాక్సాఫీస్​ వద్ద విజృంభిస్తున్నాయి. అభిమానుల్లో మంచి స్పందనతో రికార్డు వసూళ్ల దిశగా దూసుకెళ్తున్నాయి.

I mean this is one of the most blatant examples of a smear, I think, you could see, with something that's completely uncorroborated as I said before, the reason it's uncorroborated is because it's not true. It won't be corroborated because it's not true. It didn't happen in the way that was portrayed."

"I mean unlike others I have nothing to hide. I mean you have someone who obviously wanted to manipulate the press, obviously wanted attention on this and was willing to again lay low for a year when the Post initially would not run the story and then magically resurface right as we're getting attention and media exposure around this issue. Again, so it is completely obvious. You don't have to be a political genius to understand that this is a complete smear."

"I've put up for election from people the Commonwealth of Virginia in three statewide elections and never has anything like this ever been raised. Not throughout my life. I've been through two FBI background checks. I cleared both successfully. I was given a top secret security clearance. So my background has been vetted in public and private for many, many years. And I don't have to go around and sneakily try to get information into the media and try to get exposure for lies because trustworthy and, and it's, you know, were were able to put the facts out there immediately because we knew what the facts were."

"The fact that you now have something that was 15 years ago. And yet you don't have a shred of corroboration shred of evidence. You again this was first posed a year ago. And went to the Washington Post, by the way. And then when the Washington Post made the decision not to run the story because it is false, because it is uncorroborated and the reason it is uncorroborated is  because it is false. You just go away until you find another opportunity to get back in the media."
9. Fairfax enters vehicle
STORYLINE:
Virginia Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax repeated his denial of sexual misconduct allegations outside the Virginia statehouse on Monday.
The allegations were first reported by a conservative website. Fairfax called it a "smear" and said a 2004 encounter with a woman was consensual. The Associated Press is not reporting the accusation because AP has not able to confirm it.
The Washington Post said on Monday that it was approached by the woman in 2017, carefully investigated, but didn't publish the accusations.
The Post said the woman had not told anyone about it, the account could not be corroborated, Fairfax denied it and the Post was unable to find other allegations against him.
Fairfax is in line to become Virginia's next Governor if the current Governor, Ralph Northam, resigns. He has been under pressure since a racist photo from his 1984 medical school yearbook surfaced.
