గిన్నిస్ సంస్థ నూతన ప్రపంచ రికార్డులను విడుదల చేసింది. తాజా రికార్డులను 2020 సంవత్సరం ఎడిషన్గా పరిగణిస్తారు. నూతన రికార్డుల్లో అతి చిన్న గుర్రం, అత్యంత పొడవైన వెంట్రుకల టీనేజర్ సహా పలు ఆకట్టుకునే విశేషాలు ఉన్నాయి.

2020 గిన్నిస్ ప్రపంచ రికార్డుల విడుదల

2020 సంవత్సరానికి గిన్నిస్ ప్రపంచ రికార్డుల పుస్తకాన్ని విడుదల చేసింది గిన్నిస్ సంస్థ. నూతన రికార్డులకు సంబంధించిన వీడియో దృశ్యాలను విడుదల చేసింది.

గిన్నిస్ ప్రపంచ రికార్డులను మొట్టమొదటి సారిగా 1955లో ప్రకటించారు.

గిన్నిస్ తాజా రికార్డుల్లోని కొన్ని విశేషాలు...

అతి చిన్న గుర్రం 56. 7 సెంటీమీటర్లు, అత్యంత పొడవైన వెంట్రుకలు ఉన్న టీనేజర్ 170. 5 సె.మీ. ఒక నిమిషంలో ఎక్కువ సంఖ్యలో ట్రిక్కులు చేయగలిగిన వరాహం- జాయ్, 3.53 మీటర్ల పొడవున్న అతిపెద్ద పింగ్ పాంగ్ బ్యాట్, కాలితో బాణాన్ని అతి ఎక్కువ దూరం వదలడం నూతన రికార్డుల్లోని కొన్ని విశేషాలు.

2020 సంవత్సరానికి గిన్నిస్ ప్రపంచ రికార్డుల పుస్తకాన్ని విడుదల చేసింది గిన్నిస్ సంస్థ. నూతన రికార్డులకు సంబంధించిన వీడియో దృశ్యాలను విడుదల చేసింది.

గిన్నిస్ ప్రపంచ రికార్డులను మొట్టమొదటి సారిగా 1955లో ప్రకటించారు.

"It is a programme for young people, in this case they are 18 to 24 years old, in which we try to separate them from other inmates so that they don't get bad influence. We give them extra attention. "'Learning through sport' is an 18-month project that aims to engage youth organisations and to build up their capacity on how to work with young people and to prevent them from getting involved in crime, and basically the focus is on juvenile delinquency, which is youth crime."

STORYLINE:
Student volunteers from a number of European countries visited one of Peru's most notorious jails on Thursday, and encouraged them to play sport to reduce their chances of returning to a life of crime.
The young inmates at Lurigancho prison in Lima performed athletic routines for the volunteers.
One of the prisoners, Benjamin Nuñez, said the programme helped him to get on better with fellow prisoners.
"It helps us to express what we feel, the fact that you are being locked up, doing nothing," said Nuñez, 19, who's serving a sentence for theft.
A student volunteer from Bulgaria, Shirin Amin, said the programme was part of a project called Learning Through Sport.
Amin and the other students are in Peru as members of the Erasmus student exchange scheme, run by the European Union. Her group includes a number of Peruvian and Brazilian students as well as Europeans.
"'Learning through sport' is an 18-month project that aims to engage youth organisations and to build up their capacity on how to work with young people and to prevent them from getting involved in crime," Amin explained. "Basically the focus is on juvenile delinquency, which is youth crime."
The Vice President of Peru's National Institute of Penitentiaries, Marlon Castaneda, said the programme aimed to give young inmates "a head start and the opportunity to change."
The Lurigancho Penitentiary is the most crowded prison in Peru, with more than 10,000 inmates.
It has 500 first-time prisoners, who are housed separately from the rest of the inmates.
Peru has over 95,000 prisoners in 69 facilities distributed throughout the country.
