ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా రంజాన్​ నెలారంభ వేడుకలు ఘనంగా జరిగాయి. పాకిస్థాన్​, యెమెన్​, సుడాన్​, జోర్డాన్​ దేశాలతో పాటు మరిన్ని దేశాల్లో సోమవారం అర్థరాత్రి నుంచే ఈ వేడుకలు మొదలయ్యాయి.

సోమవారం నెలవంక దర్శనంతో రంజాన్‌ మాసం ఆరంభమైంది. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా మంగళవారం నుంచి ఉపవాసదీక్షలు ప్రారంభించారు ముస్లింలు.

పాకిస్థాన్​లో వేల సంఖ్యలో

పాకిస్థాన్​లో రంజాన్​ నెలారంభ వేడుకలు ఘనంగా జరిగాయి. వేలాది మంది ముస్లింలు సోమవారం అర్థరాత్రి నుంచే పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో మసీదులకు చేరుకుని ప్రత్యేక ప్రార్థనలు చేశారు.

జోర్డాన్​, యెమెన్​ దేశాల్లోని పేద ముస్లిం కుటుంబాలకు కొన్ని స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థలు చేయూతగా నిలిచాయి. రంజాన్​ నెలారంభం సందర్భంగా ఇఫ్తార్​ విందు ఏర్పాటు చేశాయి. విందుతో పాటు ఇస్లాంమత పవిత్ర గ్రంథమైన ఖురాన్​ను బహుమతిగా అందజేశారు. దుప్పట్లు, పరుపులు ఉచితంగా పంపిణీ చేశారు.

సూడాన్​లో ప్రభుత్వానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా నిరసనలు జరుగుతన్నప్పటికీ ముస్లింలు రంజాన్​ సంబరాల్లో పాల్గొన్నారు. మసీదుల్లో అర్థరాత్రి నుంచే నమాజ్​లు నిర్వహించారు.

ముస్లింలు రంజాన్​ మాసమంతా దానధర్మాలు, ఇఫ్తార్‌లతో ఆధ్యాత్మిక చింతనతో గడుపుతారు. పగలు మంచినీరైనా తాగకుండా నిష్ఠగా ఉపవాస దీక్ష ఆచరిస్తారు.
