టెలికాం కంపెనీలకు కేంద్రం భారీ ఊరటనిచ్చింది. భారీగా పెరుకుపోయిన స్పెక్ట్రమ్ బకాయిలు చెల్లించేందుకు రెండేళ్ల గడువునిస్తూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు సమాచారం.
ప్రధాన మంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీ అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన.. కేబినేట్ సమావేశంలో ఈ మోరటోరియానికి అనుమతి లభించినట్లు అధికార వర్గాలు వెల్లడించాయి.
కేంద్రం తీసుకున్న ఈ నిర్ణయంతో.. 2020-21, 2021-22 రెండేళ్ల వరకు.. దిగ్గజ టెలికాం సంస్థలు భారతీ ఎయిర్టెల్, వొడాఫోన్-ఐడియా, జియోలకు రూ.42,000 కోట్ల తక్షణ చెల్లింపుల నుంచి ఉపశమనం లభించనుంది.

Real Madrid and Croatia midfielder Luka Modric has tipped Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe to become ''one of the best players in the world.''
Rumours have been swirling over the 20-year-olds future at the Ligue 1 club, with Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane said to be keen on bringing his fellow countryman to the Spanish capital.
The two sides go head-to-head in the UEFA Champions League next week at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Los Blancos aiming to overcome their 3-0 defeat in Paris last month and book their spot in the knockout stages.
Talking to SNTV as he received the Golden Foot award last week, Modric spoke about his side's recent form and slow start to the season.
The 13-time European Champions currently sit second in La Liga level on points with Barcelona, and Modric believes ''we still can play even better, but there are signs of improvement. We will try to win as many trophies as possible this season, keep working hard and improving.''
The Ballon d'Or winner also praised the club's impact on his career: ''they helped me to win all these trophies. I think I gave a lot to Madrid, but what Madrid gives you, no other club can give you.''
