డిజిటల్ లావాదేవీలను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు రిజర్వ్ బ్యాంక్ మరో నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. నేషనల్ ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ ఫండ్ ట్రాన్స్ఫర్(నెఫ్ట్) ద్వారా రోజులోని 24 గంటల్లో ఎప్పుడైనా నగదు బదిలీలు చేసుకునే వీలు కల్పించింది. సెలవు రోజులతో సంబంధం లేకుండా ఏడాదిలో ప్రతీరోజు లావాదేవీలు జరుపుకోవచ్చని తెలిపింది.

రోజులో ఎప్పుడైనా నెఫ్ట్ లావాదేవీలు

డిజిటల్‌ లావాదేవీలను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు నేషనల్‌ ఎలక్ట్రానిక్ ఫండ్‌ ట్రాన్స్‌ఫర్‌(నెఫ్ట్‌) ద్వారా నగదు బదిలీలు 24 గంటలు కొనసాగించేందుకు రిజర్వ్‌ బ్యాంక్ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. నెఫ్ట్‌ ద్వారా ఒక బ్యాంక్‌ ఖాతా నుంచి మరో బ్యాంక్‌ ఖాతాకు నగదు బదిలీని రోజులో ఎప్పుడైనా చేసుకునే సదుపాయాన్ని నేటి నుంచి అమలులోకి తెచ్చింది. బ్యాంక్‌ సెలవు రోజుల్లో కూడా నెఫ్ట్‌ ద్వారా నగదు బదిలీ చేసుకోవచ్చని తెలిపింది.

గతంలో నెఫ్ట్ ద్వారా లావాదేవీలు కేవలం ఉదయం 8 నుంచి సాయంత్రం ఆరున్నర గంటల మధ్య మాత్రమే జరుపుకొనేందుకు అవకాశం ఉండేది. తాజాగా ఈ నిబంధనలను సవరిస్తూ ఆర్బీఐ నిర్ణయం తీసుకొంది. ఏడాది మొత్తంలో రోజు, వారం, సెలవులతో సంబంధం లేకుండా నెఫ్ట్‌ లావాదేవీలు జరపవచ్చని తెలిపింది. ఈ సేవలను ఖాతాదారులకు అందించినందుకు ప్రధాన బ్యాంకులేవి వారి నుంచి ఎటువంటి అధిక రుసుము వసూలు చేయవని ఆర్బీఐ ఒక ప్రకటనలో తెలిపింది. దీని ద్వారా బ్యాంకులు మెరుగైన నిధుల నిర్వహణకు తోడ్పడుతుందని ఆర్బీఐ పేర్కొంది.
