ఆర్థిక మందగమనం నేపథ్యంలో కార్యాచరణ కోసం కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గం నేడు భేటీ కానుంది. మందగమనాన్ని ఎదుర్కొనేందుకు ఇప్పటికే ఉద్దీపన చర్యలు చేపట్టింది కేంద్రం. పలు రంగాల్లో విదేశీ ప్రత్యక్ష పెట్టుబడులను సరళీకరించే అవకాశం ఉన్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.

నేడు కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గం భేటీ.. ఎఫ్డీఐ సరళీకరణ! నేడు కేంద్ర మంత్రివర్గం భేటీ కానుంది. విదేశీ ప్రత్యక్ష పెట్టుబడులను మరింత ప్రోత్సహించే విధంగా ఈ సమావేశంలో నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోనున్నట్లు సమాచారం. సింగిల్ బ్రాండ్ రిటైల్, డిజిటల్ మీడియా రంగాల్లో సడలింపుల ద్వారా విదేశీ పెట్టుబడిదారులను ఆకట్టుకునేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకోనుంది. వీటితో పాటు బొగ్గు గనుల నిర్వహణ, ఒప్పంద ఉత్పత్తి రంగాల్లో నిబంధనలను సరళీకరించనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.
డిజిటల్ మీడియాలో పెట్టుబడులు..
ప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న విదేశీ పెట్టుబడుల విధానాల్లో ఒప్పంద ఉత్పత్తి రంగం గురించి పేర్కొనలేదు. ఈ రంగంపై స్పష్టత అవసరమని ప్రభుత్వ వర్గాలు తెలిపాయి. డిజిటల్ మీడియా రంగంలో విదేశీ ప్రత్యక్ష పెట్టుబడి విధానం ప్రవేశపెట్టే అంశంపై స్పష్టతకు రావాలని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది. ఇప్పటికే ప్రింట్‌ మీడియా రంగంలో 26 శాతం ఎఫ్డీఐలను అనుమతిస్తుండగా ప్రసార రంగంలో 49 శాతం ఎఫ్డీఐలను ప్రభుత్వం అనుమతిస్తోంది.
సింగిల్ బ్రాండ్ రిటైల్ రంగంలో..
సింగిల్-బ్రాండ్ రిటైల్ రంగంలో విదేశీ రిటైలర్లు తప్పనిసరిగా 30 శాతం స్థానిక వనరులను వినియోగించాలన్న నిబంధనలను సడలించే ప్రతిపాదనను మంత్రివర్గం పరిశీలించనుంది. ఈ ప్రతిపాదన ప్రకారం విదేశీ సింగిల్ బ్రాండ్ రిటైలర్లు దేశంలో దుకాణాలను తెరవకముందే తమ ఉత్పత్తులను అంతర్జాలంలో విక్రయించుకోవచ్చు.
2018-19లో ఎఫ్డీఐలు 1 శాతం తగ్గి 44.36 బిలియన్‌ డాలర్లకు చేరుకున్న నేపథ్యంలో పలు రంగాల్లో ఎఫ్డీఐ నిబంధనల సరళీకరణ అంశాన్ని ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్‌ బడ్జెట్‌ ప్రసంగంలో ప్రస్తావించారు.

The top-seeded Osaka defeated Anna Blinkova 6-4, 6-7 (5-7), 6-2 as Bertens beat Paula Badosa 6-4, 6-2, Andreescu topped Katie Volynets 6-2, 6-4 and Riske upset Garbine Muguruza 2-6, 6-1, 6-3.
