రిజర్వేషన్లపై వైఖరిని స్పష్టం చేయాలని రాజస్థాన్​ ప్రభుత్వానికి గత నెలలో 20 రోజుల గడువిచ్చారు గుజ్జర్​లు. అది శుక్రవారంతో ముగిసింది. దీంతో పోరు బాట పట్టారు గుజ్జర్​లు.

రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించాలని డిమాండ్​ చేస్తూ గుజ్జర్​ నేత కిరోరి సింగ్​ బైంస్లా, అనుచరులు శుక్రవారం నాడు రాజస్థాన్​ సవాయి మాదోపూర్​ జిల్లాలో రైలు పట్టాలపై బైఠాయించి ధర్నా చేశారు. ఆందోళనల దృష్ట్యా పలు రైళ్లను అధికారులు దారి మళ్లించారు.

గుజ్జర్లు, రాయిక-రేబరీ, గడియ లుహార్​, బంజారా, గడారియా సామాజిక వర్గాలకు 5 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించాలని ఆందోళనకారులు కోరుతున్నారు.

గుజ్జర్ల ఆందోళనలపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఆశోక్​ గహ్లోత్​ స్పందించారు. కాంగ్రెస్​ చర్చలకు సిద్ధంగా ఉందని, శాంతికి భంగం కలిగించరాదని నిరసనకారులకు విన్నవించారు. చర్చల కోసం వైద్యారోగ్య మంత్రి, పర్యటక శాఖ మంత్రి సహా మరికొందరితో కమిటీని ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు సమాచారం.
