Former world number one Stan Wawrinka continued his comeback from injury with a confidence-boosting victory over fourth seed Milos Raonic at the World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam on Monday.
Currently ranked 68th in the world, Wawrinka needed just one break of serve to close out the first set by six games to four.
Both men held serve comfortably in the second all the way to a tie-break, where Wawrinka held his nerve to claim a 6-4, 7-6 (4) victory.
He will next face 10th seed Denis Shapovalov in the quarter-finals.
