రహదారిపై అక్రమంగా పెట్టిన ఫ్లెక్సీ ఓ యువతి మృతికి కారణమైంది. చెన్నైలో ఫ్లెక్సీ తగిలి స్కూటీపై ప్రయాణిస్తున్న 23 ఏళ్ల సాఫ్ట్వేర్ ఇంజినీర్ కిందపడిపోయింది. ఆమెపై నుంచి వాటర్ ట్యాంకర్ దూసుకెళ్లటం వల్ల ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయింది.

చెన్నైలో సాఫ్ట్వేర్ ఇంజినీర్ను బలిగొన్న పెళ్లి ఫ్లెక్సీ తమిళనాడు రాజధాని చెన్నైలో దారుణం జరిగింది. రహదారిపై అక్రమంగా పెట్టిన ఫ్లెక్సీ తెగి మీద పడటం వల్ల 23 ఏళ్ల యువతి మరణించింది. పల్లవరం-తొరైపాకం రహదారిలో ద్విచక్రవాహనంపై ఇంటికి వెళుతుండగా ఈ ఘటన జరిగింది.
విధులు ముగించుకుని వెళుతుండగా..
కండంచవాడీలోని ఓ సాఫ్ట్వేర్ సంస్థలో పనిచేస్తున్న శుభశ్రీ (23) గురువారం విధులు ముగించుకుని ఇంటికి బయలుదేరింది. ఆ సమయంలో పల్లవరం-తొరైపాకం రహదారిలో ఉన్న అన్నాడీఎంకే పార్టీ కార్యకర్త కుటుంబ కార్యక్రమానికి సంబంధించిన ఫ్లెక్సీ ఆమెపై పడింది. ఆ యువతి అదుపుతప్పి కిందపడిపోయింది. పక్కనుంచి వెళుతున్న ఓ వాటర్ ట్యాంకర్ శుభశ్రీ పైనుంచి దూసుకెళ్లింది. ఆమె అక్కడికక్కడే ప్రాణాలు విడిచింది.
అతివేగంగా వస్తూ నిర్లక్ష్యంగా వ్యవహరించిన ట్యాంకర్ డ్రైవర్ను పోలీసులు అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు.
యువతి మృతికి కారణమైన అక్రమ హోర్డింగ్లపై సర్వత్ర నిరసనలు వ్యక్తమవుతున్నాయి. సామాజిక మాధ్యమాల వేదికగా ప్రజలు ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
అన్నాడీఎంకే కార్యకర్తపై కేసు..
యువతి కుటుంబ సభ్యుల ఫిర్యాదు మేరకు ఫ్లెక్సీ ఏర్పాటు చేసిన అన్నాడీఎంకే కార్యకర్తపై కేసు నమోదు చేశారు పోలీసులు. ఫ్లెక్సీని ముద్రించిన ప్రింటింగ్ యూనిట్ను మూసివేసినట్లు చెన్నై నగరపాలక సంస్థ అధికారులు తెలిపారు. ఎలాంటి అనుమతులు లేకుండా హోర్డింగ్లు ఏర్పాటు చేసినట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
మద్రాస్ హైకోర్టు విచారణ...
ఫ్లెక్సీ మీదపడి యువతి మరణించిన కేసుపై మద్రాస్ హైకోర్టు శుక్రవారం విచారణ చేపట్టింది. అక్రమ హోర్డింగ్లపై ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. 'రోడ్లకు రంగు వేసేందుకు రాష్ట్రప్రభుత్వానికి ఇంకెన్ని లీటర్ల రక్తం కావాలి' అంటూ ప్రశ్నించింది.
ఫ్లెక్సీలు పెట్టొద్దు...
తమిళనాడులోని అధికార అన్నాడీఎంకే, ప్రధాన ప్రతిపక్ష డీఎంకే, ఏఎంఎంకే సహా ఇతర పార్టీ నాయకులు ప్రజలకు ఇబ్బంది కలిగేలా ఫ్లెక్సీలు ఏర్పాటు చేయొద్దని కార్యకర్తలకు సూచించారు.

LEADIN :
Britain's Prince Harry is preparing to celebrate his 35th birthday this weekend.
It's been a busy year for the Prince and his wife Meghan, which has included the birth of their son Archie in May.
STORYLINE :
Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex visited a school in Luton on Thursday afternoon (12 September 2019) as part of a programme launched to increase the number of secondary state schools playing rugby union.
During the visit, the British royal met young rugby players and coaches at Lealands High School, which is the 750th school to join the Rugby Football Union (RFU) All Schools programme.
It has been a hectic year for Prince Harry, who married the former TV star Meghan Markle in May 2018.
In October the couple returned to St. George's Chapel in Windsor, this time as guests at Princess Eugenie's wedding.
But the couple were already nursing their secret, waiting until they arrived in Australia, a few days later, to announce Meghan's pregnancy.
Harry and Meghan visited New Zealand and Australia, visiting a kiwi sanctuary in New Zealand.
They spent Christmas with other members of the Royal Family at Sandringham, attending the traditional Christmas morning service.
The couple had a busy time ahead of the birth of their child, their schedule included traveling to Morocco for an offical visit in February.
The impeding birth was high in everyone's mind and at a visit to the Canadian High Commission in London, the royal couple were presented with a box of baby clothes.
The couple's son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, was born on May 6 2019.
Archie is the queen's eighth great-grandchild and is seventh in line to the British throne.
Prince Harry says that he and Meghan will have no more than two children because of concerns for the environment.
In an interview with primatologist Jane Goodall for British Vogue, Harry said becoming a father in May had changed his perspective.
Harry interviewed Goodall for the September issue of British Vogue, which was guest-edited by Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
The couple recently attended the first Major League Baseball game held in Europe as the New York Yankees played the Boston Red Sox in London.
Harry and Meghan met players from both the Red Sox and Yankees teams before the match and were presented with gifts for their son Archie.
Meghan joined her husband on the red carpet at the London premiere of The Lion King in July. A well deserved night out for the new parents.
Harry's story began with the fairytale that wasn't to be, the wedding between Charles and Diana that ended in divorce, and ultimately in Diana's death in a car crash in Paris.
Despite Charles' attempts to provide a supportive family environment, the tragedy inevitably took its toll on young Harry, who was just 12 when she died.
Having lost his mother at an early age, Harry has always had the sympathy of the public, and he's been popular because of his high spirits and impish sense of humour.
But the angry young man of his teenage years has gradually disappeared.
Instead there's now a thoughtful, hardworking individual who uses his privileged position to campaign on issues that mean most to him, such as mental health among young people, and sport for disabled military veterans.
Harry became a full-time soldier. He loved the army and had a successful career on the front line. That, coupled with therapy, helped him overcome the inner demons that Diana's death had unleashed.
On leaving the military, Harry found new avenues for his energy.
He's credited with creating the Invictus Games for disabled military personnel. He's followed in Diana's footsteps by visiting AIDS centres, and he's joined forces with his brother William and sister-in-law Kate to support mental health initiatives for young people.
Earlier this week he celebrated the fifth anniversary of the Invictus Games.
As he addressed guests attending the event, the British royal reflected on how a "huge amount has happened in five years."
"Medals have been won, children have been born. Not mine necessarily," he joked.
"One thing that hasn't happened is limbs haven't grown back. But one thing I can assure you is that mental health has completely changed with every single one of these individuals," he added.
Founded by the Duke of Sussex, the Invictus Games is an international adaptive multi-sport event, in which wounded armed services personnel and associated veterans take part in nine sports.
The next day, Harry could be found closing deals on a financial trading floor, (11 September 2019), raising thousands for charity at the annual BGC Charity Day.
The royal spoke on the phone - or sometimes on two - as traders told him what to say. The prince reportedly closed a billion pound (sterling) deal as part of his negotiations.
Harry took part as patron of the Invictus Games, one of the beneficiaries of the annual event.
On September 11 each year, BGC Partners and Cantor Fitzgerald give the day's global revenues to hundreds of charities, in memory of the more than 700 employees lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001.
Harry has stepped up to the plate as a full-time senior royal, representing Queen Elizabeth II at official engagements at home and abroad.
Later this month Harry will get to see the legacy of his late mother's humanitarian work in Angola during a trip to southern Africa.
Buckingham Palace says Harry is taking with his wife, Meghan, and their infant son Archie.
The itinerary has Meghan and Archie staying in South Africa for the entire Sept. 23-Oct. 2 trip. Harry also plans to go to Angola, Malawi and Botswana.
In Angola the Prince will see land mine clearing work that has continued long after Princess Diana brought worldwide attention to the problem.
Meghan will visit South African organizations promoting women's education, health, entrepreneurship and leadership.
Harry celebrates his 35th birthday on September 15. Harry-watchers are hoping their favourite Prince has found his 'happy ever after' with his bride and baby son.
