పరువు నష్టం కేసులో కాంగ్రెస్ నేత రాహుల్ గాంధీకి గుజరాత్లోని అహ్మదాబాద్ మెజిస్ట్రేట్ కోర్టు బెయిల్ మంజూరు చేసింది. అహ్మదాబాద్ జిల్లా కో ఆపరేటివ్ బ్యాంక్(ఏడీసీ) ఛైర్మన్ అజయ్ పటేల్ గతేడాది ఈ పరువునష్టం దావా వేశారు.

తప్పు చేయలేదన్న రాహుల్, బెయిల్ ఇచ్చిన కోర్టు

కాంగ్రెస్ నేత రాహుల్ గాంధీకి ఊరట లభించింది. పరువు నష్టం కేసులో అహ్మదాబాద్ మెజిస్ట్రేట్ కోర్టు ఆయనకు బెయిల్ మంజూరు చేసింది. రాహుల్పై అహ్మదాబాద్ జిల్లా కో ఆపరేటివ్ బ్యాంక్(ఏడీసీ) ఛైర్మన్ అజయ్ పటేల్ గతేడాది ఈ పరువు నష్టం దావా వేశారు.

విచారణకు స్వయంగా హాజరయ్యారు రాహుల్. తనపై వచ్చిన అభియోగాలు అంగీకరిస్తున్నారా అని రాహుల్ను అడిగారు అదనపు చీఫ్ మెట్రోపాలిటన్ మెజిస్ట్రేట్ ఎన్. బీ మున్షి. అందుకు రాహుల్ నిరాకరించారు. అనంతరం బెయిల్ మంజూరైంది.

ఈ కేసు విచారణ కోసం కాంగ్రెస్ జాతీయ అధికార ప్రతినిధి రణదీప్సింగ్ సుర్జేవాలా శనివారం అహ్మదాబాద్ మెజిస్ట్రేట్ కోర్టు ముందు హాజరుకానున్నారు.

కేసు వివరాలు..

రాహుల్ గాంధీ, కాంగ్రెస్ అధికార ప్రతినిధి రణదీప్ సుర్జేవాలా గతంలో.. అహ్మదాబాద్ జిల్లా సహకార బ్యాంకుపై తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు చేశారు. 2016 నవంబర్ 8న నోట్లరద్దు ప్రకటించిన ఐదు రోజుల్లో.. రూ.745.59 కోట్ల మేర ఈ బ్యాంకు నోట్ల మార్పిడి కుంభకోణానికి పాల్పడిందని ఆరోపించారు.

ముంబయికి చెందిన ఓ కార్యకర్త ఆర్టీఐ ద్వారా అడిగిన ప్రశ్నకు బ్యాంక్ ఫర్ అగ్రికల్చర్ అండ్ రూరల్ డెవలప్మెంట్ ఇచ్చిన సమాధానం ఆధారంగానే రాహుల్ గాంధీ, సుర్జేవాలా ఏడీసీ బ్యాంకుపై ఆరోపణలు చేశారు.

అయితే ఈ ఆరోపణలను ఖండించిన ఏడీసీ బ్యాంకుతో పాటు ఛైర్మన్ అజయ్ పటేల్ వ్యక్తిగతంగా... ఈ ఇరువురు నేతలపై పరువునష్టం కేసు దాఖలు చేశారు. కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రి అమిత్షా ఈ ఏడీసీ బ్యాంకు డైరెక్టర్లలో ఒకరు కావడం గమనార్హం.

ఈ కేసులో ప్రాథమిక సాక్ష్యాలను పరిశీలించిన న్యాయస్థానం ఏప్రిల్ 9న రాహుల్గాంధీ, రణ్దీప్ సుర్జేవాలాకు సమన్లు జారీ చేసింది.

More than 20,000 schools in England are to receive training on how to provide mental health support to students.
It's part of a scheme to make sure schools and the NHS give children and young adults more joined up care.
STORYLINE
15 year olds Oluwademilade Dorcasadeleja and Ellie-Marie Bunn know that being a teenager can be tough.
And today they're getting to put their concerns to UK Education Secretary Damian Hinds.
He's visiting their school in East London as the government announces a four year plan to tackle mental health issues amongst students.
Over this period every school and college will nominate a teacher or member of staff to be trained by mental health specialists.
More than 20,000 schools will benefit.
"Teachers are already always looking out for the welfare of their children and young people, but we want to make sure that they know who they can refer to if they're particularly worried about a child and how to get that specialist input really quickly," says Jaime Smith, Director of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Programme.
It's part of a scheme aimed at making sure schools and the NHS give children more joined up care.
Damian Hinds MP, the Education Secretary, announced funds of 9.3 million British Pounds would be put towards the scheme:
"This is about a designated mental health lead in schools, to know just enough, there's no pretence about people having to become clinical experts but just enough to know about where a young person can be referred onto," he says.
Hinds insists the programme will not put more pressure on teachers.
Every school will designate one senior mental health lead who will be trained to make sure teachers can spot signs of anxiety and depression.
They will also liaise with local NHS professionals when specialist help is required.
"Right now only about a third of young people with a diagnosable mental health problem can access NHS support. Now the government is investing extra money in mental health services, but we know that demand is growing as well, so we need to make sure that early intervention and prevention are a priority as well," says Nick Harrop, Director of Campaigns, at the mental health charity Young Minds.
Training will take place through a series of workshops, starting in September, and being rolled out over the next four years.
