ఛత్తీస్గఢ్లో ఎన్కౌంటర్ జరిగింది. ఓ మావోయిస్టును భద్రతాదళాలు మట్టుబెట్టాయి. సుక్మా జిల్లాలోని బిరాభట్టి గ్రామంలో ఈ ఘటన చోటుచేసుకుంది. ఎదురుకాల్పుల అనంతరం మావోయిస్టు మృతదేహం సహా తుపాకులను భద్రతాదళాలు స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు.

ఛత్తీస్గఢ్లో సుక్మా జిల్లాలోని బిరాభట్టి గ్రామంలో భద్రతాదళాలు- మావోయిస్టులకు మధ్య ఎదురుకాల్పులు జరిగాయి. గ్రామంలో రిజర్వ్ గార్డ్ బృందం తనిఖీలు చేస్తుండగా మావోయిస్టులు వారిపై కాల్పులకు తెగబడ్డారు. ప్రతిఘటించిన భద్రతా దళం వారిపై ఎదురుకాల్పులు జరిపింది.

ఆ ఘటనలో ఒక నక్సలైట్ మృతిచెందాడు. ఘటనాస్థలం నుంచి భద్రతా దళాలు మృతదేహంతో పాటు తుపాకులను స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నాయి. మృతుడు మావోయిస్టుల పార్టీ కమిటీ కార్యదర్శి మడ్కమ్ హిద్మాగా గుర్తించారు. ఇతనిపై లక్ష రూపాయల రివార్డు ఉంది.

And since then has only given one brief seven minute statement. There is a sense among the president and his allies that Mueller, whose credibility, despite attacks from Republicans, remains high among most Americans, that he could perhaps convince Americans who didn't read the report, but will watch the testimony that the president did something wrong. Moreover, he could convince Democrats who are on the fence about impeachment to move that way."

"The president on Monday made the claim that he wouldn't watch much of the testimony which sort of defies belief, for someone who is so attuned to media coverage and spends most of his mornings watching cable news. There is however, very little in the way of organized White House response for what's coming. Certainly we expect to have statements from the president's attorneys Jay Sekulow and Rudy Giuliani. There certainly will be I'm sure some talking points circulated among Republican allies, some White House aides, like perhaps Kellyanne Conway. But I think we'll mostly see the response from the president himself. Despite saying he's not going to watch, his schedule Wednesday is relatively clear for most of the day until he heads to West Virginia that evening for a fundraiser. So I think we'll all be watching his Twitter account to see what he thinks."

He won't watch. Well, maybe just a little bit.
President Donald Trump on Monday feigned indifference to Robert Mueller's upcoming congressional testimony, an eyebrow-raising claim for a media-obsessed president who has been concerned for months about the potential impact of the former special counsel's appearance.
Much of Washington will stop in its tracks Wednesday as Mueller testifies on Capitol Hill for at least five hours, a nationally televised event that for many Americans will be their first detailed exposure to the former special counsel's findings on Russia's 2016 election interference.
