హత్య, కుట్ర, దోపిడీ... ప్రపంచంలో జరుగుతున్న అక్రమాల గురించి రోజూ వింటూనే ఉంటాం. వీటన్నిటి మధ్య మానవత్వం చాటిచెప్పే సంఘటనలూ ఉంటాయి. యుద్ధంలో ప్రత్యర్థిని మట్టికరిపించడమే లక్ష్యంగా బరిలోకి దిగుతారు జవాన్లు. కానీ యుద్ధక్షేత్రంలో శత్రువుపైనా మానవత్వం చాటి ఓ జవాను ప్రశంసలందుకుంటున్నాడు.

జార్ఖండ్ ఎన్కౌంటర్లో తీవ్రంగా గాయపడ్డ ఓ నక్సలైట్కు సీఆర్పీఎఫ్ జవాను తన రక్తం దానం చేసి మానవత్వం చాటిచెప్పాడు. పశ్చిమ సింఘ్భమ్ జిల్లా- ఖుంటి సరిహద్దులో జనవరి 29న ఎన్ కౌంటర్ జరిగింది. కోబ్రా అనే ప్రత్యేక భద్రతాదళం ఐదుగురు మావోయిస్టులను మట్టుబెట్టింది. నెత్తుటి మరకల్లో ప్రాణాపాయ స్థితిలో కొట్టుమిట్టాడుతున్న ఓ నక్సల్ను, జవాన్లు వెంటనే ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించారు. రాజ్కమల్ అనే జవాను తన రక్తాన్ని దానం చేశాడు.

"జవాను రక్తదానం చేశాడు. ఉగ్రవాదిని కాపాడటానికి ఆయన రక్తదానం చేశాడు. తన జీవితంలోనే గొప్ప పని చేశాడాయన. ఇలాంటి వ్యక్తికి మేము సెల్యూట్ చేస్తాము. తనపై తుపాకీ ఎక్కుపెట్టిన నక్సలైట్కే ఇతను రక్తదానం చేశాడు."

STORYLINE:
Russia will abandon a centrepiece nuclear arms treaty, following in the footsteps of the United States, but will only deploy intermediate-range nuclear missiles if Washington does so, President Vladimir Putin said Saturday.
Speaking Saturday in televised meeting with his foreign and defense ministers, Putin instructed the military to work on developing new land-based weapons that were previously banned by the pact.
Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu reported to Putin that they will include a land-based version of the Kalibr ship-based cruise missile and a new hypersonic intermediate-range ballistic missile.
Putin instructed the military to make sure the research and development works on new weapons don't swell the military budget.
He also emphasised that Russia will not deploy such new weapons unless the US does so.
US President Donald Trump accused Moscow Friday of violating the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty with "impunity" by deploying banned missiles.
Trump said in a statement that the US will "move forward" with developing its own military response options to Russia's banned deployment of cruise missiles that could target western Europe.
Moscow has strongly denied any breaches and accused Washington of making false accusations in order to justify its pullout that stoked fears of a new arms race.
