అయోధ్య తీర్పుపై హిందూ సంస్థ రివ్యూ పిటిషన్

అయోధ్య రామజన్మభూమి-బాబ్రీ మసీదు భూవివాదంపై సుప్రీం కోర్టు వెలువరించిన తీర్పుపై నేడు రెండు పునఃసమీక్ష పిటిషన్లు దాఖలయ్యాయి. సున్నీ వక్ఫ్బోర్డ్కు 5 ఎకరాల భూమిని కేటాయించడానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా వ్యాజ్యం దాఖలు చేసింది అఖిల భారత హిందూ మహాసభ.
అయోధ్య కేసులో మరో రెండు రివ్యూ పిటిషన్లు
అయోధ్యలో మసీదు నిర్మాణానికి సున్నీ వక్ఫ్బోర్డుకు ఐదెకరాల భూమిని కేటాయిస్తూ వెలువరించిన తీర్పును వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ రివ్యూ పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేసింది అఖిల భారత హిందూ మహాసభ. సర్వోన్నత న్యాయస్థానం నవంబర్ 9న ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును వ్యతిరేకించిన తొలి హిందూ సంస్థ ఇదే.
వివాదాస్పద నిర్మాణాన్ని మసీదుగా ప్రకటించే అంశాన్ని తొలగించాలని తన వ్యాజ్యంలో పేర్కొంది. అక్కడ ఉన్నది మసీదు అని నిరూపించటంలో ముస్లింలు విఫలమయ్యారని పేర్కొంది. దానిపై ఎలాంటి హక్కులు వారికి లేవని.. అందువల్ల వారికి ఐదెకరాల భూమి కేటాయించాల్సిన అవసరం లేదని కోర్టుకు తెలిపింది.
మరో పిటిషన్..
అయోధ్య కేసులో ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును పునఃసమీక్షించాలని కోరుతూ.. 40 మంది మానవ హక్కుల కార్యకర్తలు సంయుక్తంగా పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేశారు. ఈ తీర్పులో వాస్తవికత, చట్టంలో తప్పులు ఉన్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు.
డిసెంబర్ 2న తొలి పిటిషన్..
అయోధ్య భూవివాదం కేసుపై డిసెంబర్ 2 తొలి పునఃసమీక్ష పిటిషన్ దాఖలైంది. అనంతరం ఈనెల 6న.. ఒకే రోజు 6 రివ్యూ పిటిషన్లు దాఖలు చేశాయి ముస్లిం సంస్థలు. అందులో అఖిల భారత ముస్లిం పర్సనల్ లా బోర్డు ఉంది.
అయోధ్యలో రామమందిరాన్ని నిర్మించాలని నవంబర్ 9న చారిత్రక తీర్పునిచ్చింది అత్యున్నత న్యాయస్థానం. అయితే.. ఈ తీర్పును పునఃసమీక్షించాలని కక్షిదారులు సర్వోన్నత న్యాయస్థానాన్ని ఆశ్రయిస్తున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఇప్పటికే 7 రివ్యూ పిటిషన్లు దాఖలు దాఖలయ్యాయి.

Ashford: "Totally overwhelming. I have not played the West End, so this is my West End debut, which is crazy. And so for me, it's really a dream come true - not only getting to explore this role in this show, which is I think one of the great masterpieces of musical theatre, but to also be in a city that respects and supports the theater in such an important way - it's just an honor."
Gyllenhaal: "I mean, the way this show came together was sort of wonderful and odd. It was at first just the concert that we did, and we just, everybody - it was this overwhelming response. And then we sort of immediately moved it to Broadway and we had only 10 weeks on Broadway and it felt so unfinished. And two years has gone by, and this ache in our hearts, and I think to come to London to sort of finish what we had yet to finish and to do it all together again here is - I don't think we ever believed that we would be able to do it, so it feels like a dream, yeah."
(Reporter: "And it is a magical show, isn't it?")
Gyllenhaal: "It is, it is a magical show. It is one of those shows that there's a sort of alchemy to this production that I don't think we all realized until we sort of put in front of an audience and we thought, 'Oh no, this needs to live again.' And particularly here in London, to think about it coming here, there's no better theater than here, so we can't wait."

"This is a show not only about art, but it is a show about family. You know, I think as Sondheim wrote himself, that the only things - two things - that we leave behind of import when we leave this earth are children and art. And so though one part of it is about art, the second part is about the art that we create as human beings in other human beings and how they move on and how they move past us and create things anew over and over again. And so to me, it's really a show about family in the end and how important that is. So I hope people walk away loving their family and wanting to call them and be with them, and bring them to see the show so they can share in feelings that they wouldn't necessarily be able to express around the dinner table or in everyday life."

"Well, there's obviously an enormous group of people who adore and worship Stephen Sondheim, and then I think there is a whole new audience that doesn't really know Sondheim and his genius, and I think we're concerned with bringing them all to the theater to see it again and to discover it anew. He is, I mean, he is a master lyrically and musically. He's one of those humans that feel like they've come from another planet to teach us a lesson; seems like they're speaking in a whole new language, in a language that somehow illuminates our own language. STORYLINE:
JAKE GYLLENHAAL: BRINGING 'GENIUS' SONDHEIM MUSICAL TO LONDON 'FEELS LIKE A DREAM'
Jake Gyllenhaal says bringing Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical "Sunday in the Park with George" to London's West End next summer "feels like a dream."
Gyllenhaal made his theatrical debut in London, starring in Kenneth Lonergan's "This Is Our Youth" in 2002, earning Outstanding Newcomer at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards.
The Oscar-nominated actor first performed "Sunday in the Park with George" alongside Tony winner Annaleigh Ashford at New York City Center in 2016, followed by a sold-out run at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway in 2017.
"The way this show came together was sort of wonderful and odd," Gyllenhaal told The Associated Press recently (3 DEC. 2019).
"It was at first just the concert that we did, and... it was this overwhelming response. And then we sort of immediately moved it to Broadway and we had only 10 weeks on Broadway and it felt so unfinished. And two years has gone by, and this ache in our hearts, and I think to come to London to sort of finish what we have yet to finish and to do it all together again here is - I don't think we ever believed that we would be able to do it."
Ashford is making her West End debut in the show.
"Sunday in the Park with George," with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine, begins a 12-week run at the Savoy Theatre in June 2020.
Directed by Sarna Lapine, it dramatizes the creation of 19th-century French post-impressionist artist George Seurat's masterpiece painting, "A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte." Consumed by his need to "finish the hat", Seurat alienates the French bourgeoisie and his fellow artists, and neglects his lover Dot (Ashford), not realizing that his actions will reverberate for the next 100 years.
Both Gyllenhaal and Ashford are admirers of 89-year-old Stephen Sondheim, whose other works include "Company" (1970), "Follies" (1971), "A Little Night Music" (1973), "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street" (1979), and "Into the Woods" (1987). He also wrote the lyrics for "West Side Story" (1957) and "Gypsy" (1959).
"He is a master lyrically and musically," says Gyllenhaal. "He's one of those humans that feel like they've come from another planet to teach us a lesson; seems like they're speaking in a whole new language, and a language that somehow illuminates our own language."
Sondheim has won an Oscar, multiple Grammy and Tony Awards, and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama in 2015.
Ashford starred on Broadway in "Wicked," "Kinky Boots," "Legally Blonde" and "You Can't Take It With You," for which she won a Tony Award. She also starred in TV period drama "Masters of Sex."
Gyllenhaal recently appeared at the Hudson Theatre on Broadway in "Sea Wall/A Life," alongside Tom Sturridge. He also stars on the big screen with Tom Holland in "Spider-Man: Far From Home."
