దేశవ్యాప్తంగా బొగ్గు గనుల ప్రైవేటీకరణ నిర్ణయాన్ని వెనక్కు తీసుకోవాలని కార్మికులు నిరసన చేస్తున్నారని.. తెరాస అనుబంధ కార్మిక సంఘం టీజీబీకేఎస్ కూడా సమ్మెకు మద్దతు తెలిపినట్లు మాజీ ఎంపీ కల్వకుంట్ల కవిత ట్విటర్ వేదికగా వెల్లడించారు. భద్రాద్రి కొత్తగూడెం జిల్లాలోని సింగరేణి గనున్నలో 41 బొగ్గు బ్లాకులను ప్రైవేట్ సంస్థలకు అప్పగించే ఉద్దేశంతో కేంద్రం వేలం వేసిందని కార్మికులు ఆరోపించారు.

ఈ సమ్మెకు సింగరేణి గుర్తింపు సంఘమైన తెలంగాణ బొగ్గుగని కార్మిక సంఘం (టీజీబీకేఎస్) ఒకరోజు మద్దతు తెలిపింది. అత్యవసర కార్మికులు మినహా మిగిలిన వారెవరూ విధులకు హాజరు కావడం లేదు. కొద్దిమంది కార్మికులతో ఉపరితల గనుల్లో ఉత్పత్తి కోసం యాజమాన్యం ప్రయత్నిస్తోంది.
