ఆడిన 8 మ్యాచ్ల్లో ఏడింటిలో ఓడిపోయి దాదాపు ప్లే ఆఫ్ ఆశలపై నీళ్లు జల్లుకుంది రాయల్ ఛాలెంజర్స్ బెంగళూరు. వరుసగా మూడు పరాజయాలు అందుకున్న కోల్కతా నైట్ రైడర్స్ గెలుపు కోసం తీవ్రంగా ప్రయత్నిస్తోంది. ఈ రెండింటి మధ్య నేడు ఈడెన్ గార్డెన్స్ వేదికగా మ్యాచ్ జరగనుంది.

ఇంకొక్క మ్యాచ్లో ఓడితే బెంగళూరు ప్లే ఆఫ్కు చేరే అవకాశముండదు. కోల్కతా స్టార్ ఆటగాడు ఆండ్రీ రసెల్కు గాయం కారణంగా మ్యాచ్కు దూరమయ్యే అవకాశముంది. ఇది రైడర్స్ జట్టుకు ప్రతీకూలంగా మారనుంది. ఈ సీజన్లో బెంగళూరుతో జరిగిన తొలిమ్యాచ్లో రసెల్ 13 బంతుల్లో 48 పరుగులు చేసి విధ్వంసం సృష్టించాడు.

ఇప్పటికే కోల్కతాపై ఓ మ్యాచ్లో ఓడిన బెంగళూరు ఈ మ్యాచ్లో గెలిచి ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకోవాలనుకుంటోంది. ఆ మ్యాచ్లో 206 పరగులు చేసిన బెంగళూరు.. రసెల్ విధ్వంసంతో లక్ష్యాన్ని కాపాడుకోలేకపోయింది. కెప్టెన్ కోహ్లీ, డివిల్లియర్స్ ఫామ్లో ఉండటం ఆర్సీబీకి కలిసొచ్చే అంశం. గత మ్యాచ్లో మొయిన్ అలీ 32 బంతుల్లో 50 పరుగులు చేసి సత్తా చాటాడు. బౌలింగ్లో బలహీనంగా కనిపిస్తోంది కోహ్లీ సేన. గత మ్యాచ్లో గెలుపు ఖాయామనుకున్న దశలో పేలవ ప్రదర్శనతో మ్యాచ్ను చేజార్చుకుంది. ప్లే ఆఫ్ చేరాలంటే ఇప్పుడు నుంచి ఆడే ప్రతీ మ్యాచ్లోనూ గెలవాల్సిన పరిస్థితుల్లో కోహ్లీ సేన ఒత్తిడి అధిగమించి సత్తాచాటాల్సి ఉంది. డేల్ స్టెయిన్ జట్టులో కలిసే అవకాశముంది. స్టెయిన్ రాకతో బౌలింగ్ విభాగం పటిష్ఠం కానుంది.
