మన్కడింగ్ వివాదం, అంపైర్ నిర్ణయాలు, సూపర్ఓవర్ థ్రిల్లింగ్, హ్యాట్రిక్ వికెట్లు లాంటి సంచలనాలతో తొలి పది రోజులు క్రికెట్ అభిమానులను అలరించింది ఐపీఎల్ 12వ సీజన్. ఇంకా నెల రోజులపైగా కొనసాగే ఈ పొట్టి ఫార్మాట్లో మరెన్నీ విశేషాలు నమోదవుతాయో!

ఐపీఎల్ 2019... ప్రారంభమై అప్పుడే 10 రోజులైంది. ఈ పది రోజుల్లో క్రికెట్ అభిమానులను కిక్ ఎక్కించేసింది. మన్కడింగ్ వివాదం దగ్గరినుంచి అంపైర్ నిర్ణయాల వరకు ఎన్నో సంచలనాలకు వేదికైంది. ఇలాంటి మరికొన్ని విశేషాలను ఇప్పుడు చూద్దాం!
- చెన్నై సూపర్ కింగ్స్తో జరిగిన తొలి మ్యాచ్లో బెంగళూరు జట్టు 70 పరుగులకే ఆలౌటైంది. చెన్నై వేదికగా జరిగిన ఈ మ్యాచ్లో ధోనీ సేన రెండు ఓవర్లు మిగిలుండగానే లక్ష్యాన్ని ఛేదించింది.
- రాజస్థాన్ రాయల్స్ బ్యాట్స్మెన్ జోస్ బట్లర్ను పంజాబ్ కెప్టెన్ అశ్విన్ మన్కడింగ్ చేయడం వివాదాస్పదమైంది. ఐపీఎల్ చరిత్రలో తొలిసారి మన్కడింగ్ చేసిన వ్యక్తిగా అశ్విన్ రికార్డుకెక్కాడు.
- ముంబయి ఇండియన్స్‌తో మ్యాచ్లో బెంగళూరు చివరి బంతికి ఏడు పరుగులు చేయాలి. ఇలాంటి తరుణంలో ముంబయి బౌలర్ మలింగ నోబాల్‌ వేశాడు. అంపైన్‌ నో బాల్‌గా ప్రకటించకపోవడం వల్ల విమర్శలు వెల్లువెత్తాయి.
- ఈ ఐపీఎల్ సీజన్లో రాజస్థాన్ రాయల్స్ యువ క్రికెటర్ సంజూ శాంసన్ తొలి శతకం బాదేశాడు. సన్రైజర్స్తో జరిగిన ఈ మ్యాచ్లో రాజస్థాన్ జట్టు ఓడిపోయింది.
- కోల్కతా నైట్రైడర్స్తో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్లో దిల్లీ యువ బ్యాట్స్మెన్ పృథ్వీ షా 99 పరుగులు చేశాడు. శతకానికి ఒక్క పరుగు దూరంలో ఔటయ్యాడు. ఇదే మ్యాచ్ టైగా ముగియగా... సూపర్ఓవర్లో దిల్లీ క్యాపిటల్స్ జట్టే గెలిచింది. ఈ సీజన్లో ఇదే తొలి సూపర్ఓవర్.
- రాయల్ ఛాలెంజర్స్ బెంగళూరుతో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్లో సన్రైజర్స్ ఓపెనర్లిద్దరూ శతకాలు బాదేశారు. ఇలా జరగడం ఐపీఎల్ చరిత్రలో ఇదే తొలిసారి.
- దిల్లీ క్యాపిటల్స్తో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్లో పంజాబ్ బౌలర్ సామ్ కరన్ హ్యాట్రిక్ వికెట్లు తీశాడు. ఈ సీజన్లో ఇదే తొలి హ్యాట్రిక్. ఇదే మ్యాచ్లో దిల్లీ క్యాపిటల్స్ జట్టు 8 పరగుల వ్యవధిలో 7 వికెట్లు కోల్పోయి ఓటమి పాలైంది.
సీజన్‌లోని తొలి పది రోజుల్లోనే బిగ్‌ హిట్టింగ్‌, టెర్రిఫిక్‌ బౌలింగ్‌, అద్భుతమైన ఫినిషింగ్‌, మెరుపు సెంచరీలు, కళ్లు చెదిరే ఫీల్డింగ్ విన్యాసాలు అభిమానులను అలరించాయి.

"This is simply about trying to make sure we don't end up with a no deal crisis on April the 12th. So I hope that the prime minister comes forward with a way forward as a result of this extended cabinet meeting. I know that there are different groups of MPs still discussing different kinds of compromise ways forward. But the problem is we are all running out of time. There's only 10 days until the danger is that we just crash out with no deal at all. And we've heard from the cabinet secretary (who) has told the cabinet this morning that that could mean, that will mean the country is less safe and that food prices could go up by nearly 10 percent. So, in those circumstances, we're simply putting forward a bill which would require the Prime Minister to ask for an extension and to put that to Parliament because, to be honest, any of these ways forward now would require some kind of extension to implement. So this is just the sensible, sensible way forward."

"The problem is we've always, we've had to push her to do the sensible thing. I think there's just too much of a game of brinkmanship going on. It's why everybody wants to just leave this until the final couple of hours and hope that somebody else blinks first. And I think that is a really dangerous way to make decisions, it's a really high-risk game with the future of the country. I just don't think it's the way we should be doing it. So, I would much rather the prime minister came forward sorted it all out today after the cabinet, but because we've seen no signs that she's going to do that, and because that risk of no deal on April the 12th is growing with serious consequences for families, for jobs, for our national security, that's why we've put this forward."

"The prime minister has to decide how long she thinks the extension should be for. I think that's that's the appropriate way. But parliament would then have to vote on it as well. But you're right that this also has to go to the European Council as well. And I hope that they will see that we have been making efforts in the last few days to attempts to build compromise. You know we did have a couple of motions that only fell short by a small amount, that we are working to try and find a way forward on this. And I hope that they (MPs from other parties) will work with us to to get an extension. But you're right, if the prime minister sort of refuses then goes against the national interest, that could be deeply damaging for all of us. That's why I still urge her not to and to put the interests of the country first and not just the narrow interests of her party."

"We are also looking at what other possibilities there might be for MPs to have further votes. There are other compromise options and things that people are working on as I understand it at the moment as well. So that might also shape how long any extension might take. But, you know, I think I think we have a responsibility still to try and make this whole process work and find a way forward, even if it's really difficult. But we're not going to be able to do anything if we just end up getting hit with no-deal on April the 12th. Any work that might have been underway to try and find a way through is just blown out the water by the dealing with the chaos of no deal and the problems that that would cause, you know, for our NHS, for medicine supplies, for manufacturers who worry about whether or not they'll be able to sell their goods or get their component parts in or have to pay tariffs on the crucial stuff they need to do." "I still hope that there is possible the possibility of building a consensus of, making sure that one of those votes can go through, because you're right, the Customs Union, for example, which I think is crucial for manufacturing industry and also for the Northern Ireland border, actually that did only lose by three votes. So, I think, you know, there should be the possibility to have further discussions, to have further votes. But, if we don't get this extension then actually there isn't time to implement any of those options, there isn't time to implement even the prime minister's option (deal), never mind any of the other options. So, that's why we've had to make the decision that we need to prioritise right now getting this legislation through to make sure that there is the time to have these sensible debates and to try and put something together and avoid no-deal."
STORYLINE:
A group of British lawmakers was on Tuesday planning an attempt to pass a law to ensure the country does not crash out of the European Union without a divorce deal.
The EU has given Britain until April 12 to come up with a Brexit plan or leave the bloc.
UK lawmakers have rejected the government's withdrawal agreement and a range of alternatives.
That leaves the country facing a disruptive no-deal Brexit in 10 days.
Parliament is set to consider this week legislation that would require Prime Minister Theresa May to seek to extend the Brexit process beyond April 12, preventing a no-deal departure.
Labour legislator Yvette Cooper, one of the bill's sponsors, said "we are now in a really dangerous situation with a serious and growing risk of no-deal in 10 days' time".
She said that "if the government won't act urgently", then Parliament must step in.
