భారత ఫాస్ట్‌ బౌలర్‌ జస్​ప్రీత్​ బుమ్రా.. వన్డేల్లో 100 వికెట్ల క్లబ్‌లోకి చేరాడు. ప్రపంచకప్‌లో భాగంగా  శ్రీలంకతో జరిగిన చివరి లీగ్​ మ్యాచ్‌లో ఈ సరికొత్త రికార్డు సాధించాడు. అతి తక్కువ వన్డేల్లో ఈ మైలురాయి చేరుకున్న రెండో భారతీయ బౌలర్​గానూ నిలిచాడు బుమ్రా.

ప్రపంచకప్​ చివరి లీగ్ మ్యాచ్‌లో టీమిండియా బౌలర్ జస్​ప్రీత్​ బుమ్రా 100 వికెట్ల మైలురాయిని అందుకున్నాడు. శ్రీలంకతో జరిగిన పోరులో ఆ జట్టు సారథి కరుణరత్నె(10) వికెట్ తీసిన ఈ స్పీడ్​స్టర్​... కెరీర్​లో వందో వికెట్​ సాధించాడు. అతి తక్కువ వన్డేల్లో(57) ఈ రికార్డు సృష్టించిన రెండో భారత బౌలర్​ బుమ్రా. జస్​ప్రీత్​ కంటే ముందు మహ్మద్‌ షమి 56 వన్డేల్లోనే శతక వికెట్ల మార్కు అందుకున్నాడు. తర్వాత స్థానాల్లో ఇర్ఫాన్‌ పఠాన్‌ (59), జహీర్‌ ఖాన్‌ (65), అజిత్‌ అగార్కర్‌(67), జవగళ్‌ శ్రీనాథ్‌ (68) ఉన్నారు.

ప్రపంచక్రికెట్​లో చూస్తే తక్కువ వన్డేల్లో వంద వికెట్లు పడగొట్టిన బౌలర్‌గా అఫ్గాన్‌ స్పిన్నర్​ రషీద్‌ ఖాన్ అందరికంటే ముందు వరుసలో ఉన్నాడు. 44 వన్డేల్లోనే ఈ రికార్డు సాధించాడీ సంచలన బౌలర్​​. ఆస్ట్రేలియా ఫాస్ట్‌ బౌలర్‌ మిచెల్‌ స్టార్క్‌(52 వన్డేల్లో), సక్లయిన్‌ ముస్తాక్‌ (పాకిస్థాన్‌-53) తర్వాతి స్థానాల్లో కొనసాగుతున్నారు.

STORYLINE:
Peru coach Ricardo Gareca and midfielder Edison Flores spoke ahead of the Copa America final match against host Brazil on Saturday.
Peru only advanced to the knockout stage as one of the top two teams finishing the group stage in third position. It drew against unimpressive Venezuela 0-0 and beat weak Bolivia 3-1 to move to the quarterfinals. But after the heavy defeat to Brazil Peru picked itself up in style, eliminating favorites Uruguay on penalties and crushing defending champions and archrivals Chile 3-0 in the semifinals.
For Peruvian fans the anticipation is evident, seeking their first trophy in 44 years despite Brazil's favorite tag. More than 30,000 of them are likely to be in Rio for the match.
Brazil is chasing its ninth Copa title and first since 2007. Peru won in 1939 and 1975.
