STORYLINE:
Jose Altuve hit a home run and Carlos Correa's broken-bat RBI infield single in the eighth inning helped the Houston Astros rally past the New York Yankees 4-3 on Monday night for their fourth straight victory.
Aaron Judge homered off Astros ace Justin Verlander and the Yankees got RBIs from Luke Voit and Clint Frazier.
Masahiro Tanaka pitched six strong innings allowing one run on three hits and three strike outs.
The Astros trailed by two with runners on first and second with two outs in the seventh when Robinson Chirinos tied the game with a double off Zack Britton scoring both runners.
With the game tied 3-3 with one out in the eighth, Carlos Correa hit a shattered bat RBI grounder that dribbled down the first base line knocking in the runners.
Correa and Chirinos finished with two hits apiece.
Roberto Osuna pitched a 1-2-3 ninth for his third save.
