STORYLINE:
Roma head coach Paulo Fonseca blamed the tight schedule between Serie A and European tournaments for the many injuries already suffered by Roma players since the start of the season.
"If this happens to all the big European clubs competing at this level, does this mean we are all doing a bad job?", said Fonseca at a news conference on Saturday on the eve of hosting Cagliari.
Roma will be without Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Diego Perotti, Alessandro Florenzi, Davide Zappacosta and Cengiz Under on Sunday.
Fonseca's side is competing in the Europa League as well, where most recently was held to a 1-1 draw at Wolfsberg on Thursday.
