ఆస్ట్రేలియా సీనియర్ క్రికెటర్ స్టీవ్ స్మిత్ బాల్ ట్యాంపరింగ్ అంశంపై మాట్లాడాడు. ఇదే విషయంలో 12 నెలల నిషేధం ఎదుర్కొన్న ఇతడు... తాజాగా విండీస్ ఆటగాడు పూరన్పై పడిన వేటు గురించి ఆసక్తికర సమాధానమిచ్చాడు.

లఖ్నవూ వేదికగా ఇటీవలే ఆఫ్గానిస్థాన్తో జరిగిన మ్యాచ్‌లో వెస్టిండీస్‌ స్టార్‌ ఆటగాడు నికోలస్‌ పూరన్ బాల్ ట్యాంపరింగ్‌కు పాల్పడ్డాడు. ఫలితంగా అతనిపై నాలుగు టీ20 మ్యాచ్ల నిషేధం పడింది. అయితే ఇదే తరహాలో ఆసీస్ ఆటగాడు స్టీవ్ స్మిత్ గతంలో బాల్ ట్యాంపరింగ్ చేశాడు. ఈ ఆస్ట్రేలియా ఆటగాడు మాత్రం ఏడాది నిషేధం ఎదుర్కొన్నాడు. తాజాగా పూరన్కు ఎందుకు తక్కువ శిక్ష పడిందని స్టీవ్ స్మిత్‌ను అడిగారు.
పూరన్కు తక్కువ నిషేధం పడితే తనకేం సంబంధం అని ప్రశ్నించిన స్మిత్... శిక్షాకాలం తక్కువ ఉండటం వల్ల తనకు ఇబ్బందేమీ లేదన్నాడు.
"ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ విభిన్నంగా ఉంటారు. ప్రతీ దేశ క్రికెట్ బోర్డు అంతే. ఇలాంటి సందర్భాల్లో చాలా విషయాలు కలిసి ఉంటాయి. నాకు కఠినమైన శిక్ష పడిందని నేనేమీ నిరూత్సాహపడలేదు. అది గతం. నేను దాని నుంచి బయటపడి వర్తమానంలో బ్రతుకుతున్నా. నాకు నికోలస్‌ పూరన్ తెలుసు. అతనితో క్రికెట్ ఆడిన అనుబంధం ఉంది. అతనొక టాలెంట్‌ ఉన్న క్రికెటర్. మంచి భవిష్యత్తు ఉంది. అతను.. చేసిన తప్పిదాల నుంచి పాఠాలు నేర్చుకుంటాడు."

COUNTRY TRIO LADY ANTEBELLUM TALK VULNERABLE NEW RECORD 'OCEAN'
Country vocal group Lady Antebellum know how to move people to tears with their songs and their newest record "Ocean" feels as vulnerable and honest as a therapy session.
The trio of Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood are known for their heartfelt harmonies and emotional resonance on songs like the Grammy-winning "Need You Now." On their new album, released 15 November, they looked inward at their own relationships for inspiration.
In the music video for the title track, Scott found herself crying because of the lyrics of wanting to drown yourself in someone who is emotionally unavailable.
"I feel a heavy burden when I sing and hear that song," said Scott. "It's just the lyric and it's so vulnerable and it's so raw. And there's so many people hurting, myself included."
Kelley wrote a song about letting his emotions get in the way of his relationships on "Be Patient With My Love."
"I think is just a self-awareness," Kelley said. "That's just this season we have been in as a band, it's kind of opened us, the three of us up to start talking about stuff between us that we just never really talked about. I mean, we've always been super close friends, but there were just certain areas you just didn't go."
Haywood added that they channeled their self-awareness into the album more than ever.
"I's been exciting for this season for us to be very self-aware and be vulnerable, be courageous and not be afraid and not have any fear to say those things," said Haywood. "So I think that's our approach ultimately with the album."
