కలర్​లో బ్రాడ్​మన్​ క్రికెట్​ వీడియో.. 71 ఏళ్లకు బయటకు

ప్రపంచ టెస్టు క్రికెట్​లో మేటి ఆటగాడిగా పేరు తెచ్చుకున్నాడు ఆస్ట్రేలియాకు చెందిన డాన్​ బ్రాడ్​మన్​. 1908లో క్రికెట్​ బ్యాట్​ పట్టిన ఇతడు.. 1948లో వీడ్కోలు పలికాడు. ఈ దిగ్గజం బ్యాటింగ్​ వీడియో ఒకటి కలర్​ రూపంలో కనువిందు చేస్తోంది. దాదాపు 71 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత ఇది బయటకి రావడం విశేషం.

అంతర్జాతీయ క్రికెట్లో దిగ్గజాలకే దిగ్గజం ఆస్ట్రేలియాకు చెందిన డాన్‌ బ్రాడ్‌మన్‌. టెస్టుల్లో 99.94 సగటుతో పరుగులు చేసిన ఏకైక బ్యాట్స్‌మన్‌. ఇప్పుడంటే అభిమానులు హెచ్‌డీ, 4కే, 8కే తెరలపై క్రికెట్‌ను ఆస్వాదిస్తున్నారు కానీ, అప్పటి కాలంలో అలా కాదు. అన్నీ నలుపు తెలుపు రంగుల్లోనే ఉండేవి. దాదాపు 71 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత బ్రాడ్‌మన్‌ బ్యాటింగ్‌ చేస్తున్న రంగుల వీడియో ఒకటి బయటకొచ్చింది. నేషనల్‌ ఫిల్మ్‌ అండ్‌ సౌండ్‌ ఆర్కైవ్‌ ఆఫ్‌ ఆస్ట్రేలియా (ఎన్‌ఎఫ్‌ఎస్‌ఏ) దీనిని తాజాగా ట్వీట్‌ చేసింది.

సిడ్నీ క్రికెట్‌ మైదానంలో బ్రాడ్‌మన్‌ ఆడుతున్న చివరి దేశవాళీ మ్యాచ్‌గా దీనిని భావిస్తున్నారు. 1949, ఫిబ్రవరి 26న ఏఎఫ్‌ కిపాక్స్‌, డబ్ల్యూఏ ఓల్డ్‌ఫీల్డ్‌ మధ్య ఈ పోరు జరిగింది. 16 ఎంఎం రంగుల ఫుటేజ్‌ను.. జార్జ్‌ హబ్స్‌ చిత్రీకరించాడని తెలుస్తోంది. రెండో ప్రపంచ యుద్ధంలో అతడు సమాచార శాఖకు కెమెరామ్యాన్‌గా పనిచేశాడు. ఆ తర్వాత ఏబీసీ టీవీకి సేవలందించాడు. అతడి కుమారుడే ఇప్పుడీ ఫుటేజ్‌ను బయట పెట్టారని సమాచారం.

66 సెకన్ల ఈ వీడియోకు శబ్దం లేదు. దాదాపు 41,000 మంది బ్రాడ్‌మన్‌ ఆటను చూసేందుకు అక్కడికి వచ్చినట్టు తెలుస్తోంది. ఫైన్‌లెగ్‌లోకి బ్రాడ్​మన్​ బంతిని తరలించి పరుగులు తీశాడు. 1948లో ఇంగ్లాండ్‌పై ఆడిన సిరీసే ఆయన కెరీర్లో చివరిది. ఆ తర్వాత మూడు టెస్టిమోనియల్‌ మ్యాచ్​లు ఆడాడు.
