అడిలైడ్ వేదికగా సిడ్నీసిక్సర్స్తో బుధవారం జరిగిన మ్యాచ్లో వరుసగా మూడు వికెట్లు తీశాడు రషీద్. పదో ఓవర్ ఐదో బంతికి జేమ్స్ విన్స్ను ఔట్ చేసి.. తర్వాతి బంతికే జాక్ ఎడ్వర్డ్స్ను ఎల్బీడబ్ల్యూ చేశాడు. అనంతరం 12వ ఓవర్లో బౌలింగ్కొచ్చిన ఆఫ్గాన్ స్పిన్నర్ మొదటి బంతికే జోర్డాన్ సిల్క్ను బౌల్డ్ చేసి అరుదైన ఘనత సొంతం చేసుకున్నాడు.

I'm actually in a community hall where we've set up a triage station for wildlife that's affected by the fires here at Mallacoota. We've been seeing lots of wildlife, mainly koalas they're affected by the fire, they're sooty and burnt their little singed ears."

"I guess on a really positive note. We've been releasing a few of our koalas. So they came in, they were dehydrated and maybe they had inhaled a bit of smoke. And we've had them on fluids and treated some really superficial wounds and we've been able to get some out, which is really, really lovely. And I think we all need a little bit of a nice little positive story."

"Yeah, you can say how many people are here. We've got some really great systems in place. So we've got great volunteers going out and getting leaf and then someone's blending it, putting in the freezer. And now I've got a whole bunch of volunteers who four times a day going around and giving the koalas their paste feed, which is absolutely vital for them. It's also really wonderful for those volunteers because there's something really lovely about being able to give that care and they can do something really practical. You know, I'm treating all of the wounds with one of the other vets here, but it's really lovely that those volunteers are able to sit down and provide this great source of food to the koalas. Doesn't take them very long to realize what's in that syringe and they love it. So it really is kind of soul food and everyone needs a bit of soul food. I think."

STORYLINE:
A senior vet in Australia is sharing some positive news about releasing koalas back into the wild after they were affected by the country's devastating wildfires.
Dr. Leanne Wicker, a vet at the Healesville Sanctuary in Mallacoota, shared videos and described a triage station set up for wildlife affected by the fires.
"So they came in, they were dehydrated and maybe they had inhaled a bit of smoke," Wicker said Monday.
"And we've had them on fluids and treated some really superficial wounds and we've been able to get some out, which is really really lovely."
Conservationists fear hundreds of koalas have perished in wildfires that have razed prime habitat on Australia's east coast.
Koalas climb high into trees during wildfires and survive if the fire front passes quickly below them.
Australia's wildfire season has made a particularly early and devastating start in the southern hemisphere spring due to above-average temperatures and below-average rainfall that has left much of the east coast in drought.
