బ్రాడ్​మన్ రికార్డు బద్దలు కొట్టిన మయాంక్

ఆడిన తక్కువ ఇన్నింగ్స్​ల్లో రెండు డబుల్ శతకాలు చేసిన మయాంక్(12).. బ్రాడ్​మన్ రికార్డు బద్దలు కొట్టాడు. బంగ్లాదేశ్​పై అత్యుత్తమ వ్యక్తిగత పరుగులు చేసిన రెండో భారత క్రికెటర్​గా గుర్తింపు తెచ్చుకున్నాడు.

బంగ్లాదేశ్​తో జరుగుతున్న తొలి టెస్టులో ద్విశతకంతో ఆకట్టుకున్న మయాంక్ అగర్వాల్ అరుదైన ఘనత సొంతం చేసుకున్నాడు. తక్కువ ఇన్నింగ్స్​ల్లో(12) రెండు డబుల్ సెంచరీలు చేసిన మయాంక్ క్రికెట్ దిగ్గజం సర్ డాన్ బ్రాడ్​మన్ రికార్డు బ్రేక్ చేశాడు. బ్రాడ్​మన్ 13 ఇన్నింగ్స్​ల్లో ఈ ఘనత సాధించాడు.

మయాంక్​ కంటే ముందు వినూ మన్కండ్ ఈ రికార్డు అందుకున్నాడు. 1955-56 సీజన్​లో 5 ఇన్నింగ్స్​ల్లోనే రెండు ద్విశతకాలు చేశాడు.

ఒక్కరోజులో 200 పైచిలుకు పరుగులు చేసిన భారత బ్యాట్స్​మెన్​లలో మయాంక్ ఆరో స్థానంలో ఉన్నాడు. రెండో రోజైన శుక్రవారం 206 పరుగులు చేశాడు.

  1. 2009-10 సీజన్​లో శ్రీలంకపై సెహ్వాగ్ ఒకే రోజు 284 పరుగులు చేశాడు.
  2. 2007-08 సీజన్​లో దక్షిణాఫ్రికాపై సెహ్వాగ్ మరోసారి 257 పరుగులు.
  3. 2016-17 సీజన్​లో కరుణ్ నాయర్.. ఇంగ్లాండ్​పై 232 పరుగులు.
  4. 2003-04 సీజన్​లో సెహ్వాగ్.. పాకిస్థాన్​పై 228 పరుగులు.

బంగ్లాదేశ్​పై అత్యధిక వ్యక్తిగత పరుగులు చేసిన భారత బ్యాట్స్​మెన్ల జాబితాలో మయాంక్ రెండో స్థానంలో ఉన్నాడు. 248 పరుగులతో సచిన్ ముందువరుసలో ఉన్నాడు.

China's opening-up and development experience particularly in the science and technology fields provides an exciting opportunity for other developing nations to learn from, according to academics and cultural influencers from the fellow BRICS nations of Brazil and South Africa.
Many observers were impressed by Chinese President Xi Jinping's speech at the closing ceremony of the BRICS business forum in Brazil on Wednesday, during which Xi noted that stronger partnership on a new industrial revolution is vital to pushing economic cooperation in BRICS forward to the next stage.
Xi urged for the business sector to better integrate cooperation and produce more definitive results in areas such as innovation, and in the digital and green economies, so as to promote high-quality development across all BRICS economies.
Shane Vermooten, a South African film director, said that such a cooperation partnership already exists in the technology field, with the huge influence of Chinese internet giant Tencent helping prominent South African investor Naspers to flourish.
"It's exciting for the rest of the world. I think when you look at technology we think of America, we think of Silicon Valley. And as a result of that they are the largest tech company in South Africa, a huge percent of our stock exchange is based on one company because they own a small percentage in Tencent," said Vermooten.
President Xi told the forum that China's development presents an opportunity for the world thanks to the country's commitment to opening up more widely and the long-term upward trends of its economy.
Diego Xavier, a scholar on China-Pakistan relations at the University of Campinas said that the startling development experience of Chinese science and technology enterprises is well worth learning by other countries.
"They know exactly how can you [develop] in a very large way to sell things from all different places in China very fast. For example, the key points about how can you process a lot of information, thousands and thousands, millions and millions of information and money in sometimes a few days. So China has a lot of experience. Actually, everyone especially from the BRICS countries can learn things from China," said Diego Xavier.
Others in Brazil hope their country can work towards a more prosperous future based on China's experience.

The investment in science and technology is not just for now, it also prepares for the future," said Daniel Santana Granja, a history student at the University of Brasilia.
