ఐపీఎల్ గత రెండు సీజన్లలో కింగ్స్ ఎలెవన్ పంజాబ్ జట్టుకు నాయకత్వం వహించాడు రవిచంద్రన్ అశ్విన్. ఇప్పుడు అతడిని పంజాబ్ వదులుకుంది. వచ్చే సీజన్లో దిల్లీ క్యాపిటల్స్ తరపున ఆడనున్నాడీ స్పిన్నర్. ఈ విషయంపై అధికారిక ప్రకటన రావాల్సి ఉంది.

"And when I moved to West Virginia, it was a little strange for the kid with the weird name to show up at school with cabbage rolls and cabbage prepared in many different ways and kielbasa when everyone else had like the perfect crustless sandwiches and the Oscar Meyer Lunchables. Like, that's all that I wanted. So, I kind of weirdly grew ashamed of my heritage and my name, and sort of my cultural identity. And then it wasn't until I moved back to Montreal—I believe I reference it in the book—there's this restaurant called Stash Cafe which has been around in Montreal for decades. My father worked at this restaurant as a waiter, my sisters, all of my cousins—it's run by a family member or was actually. And it's when I started working there and just sort of hanging out with the grandmas in the kitchen, making the pierogis, where I kind of fell in love with the cuisine of where I'm from."

"I had a lot of things that I was interested in and I still do. But when we started talking about sort of like what my work and educational background was, I realized that the one constant, the one thing that I always sort of did, that sort of followed through everything was food. The first jobs that I had were in restaurants from busboy to waiter to manager to sommelier, it's sort of like what helped me sort of like sustain myself, like to take care of myself while I was auditioning."

"I'm still trying to define what that means for me, and I think it's a tricky one because the show was called 'Queer Eye.' I remember when friends were asking me about what project I was auditioning for, we weren't supposed to say what we were auditioning for, but I would always whisper like, 'Queer Eye.' I was still uncomfortable with the word. It's become very much desensitized as a result of being on it, and as a result of, actually, my castmates sort of lifting me up and helping me be more comfortable with myself. My sexuality is always something that was very private. I think I did certainly have a bit of shame in being fluid when I was growing up because I didn't know too many people, especially in pop culture or have mentors, who I could relate to where I identified to, where I think the luxury of being heterosexual is that you have a lot of those people in media and who are out there and visible. And so I kind of felt like a little bit of an outsider. So I felt like— yeah, I felt like I wasn't enough of those things as well."

"You know, we're kind of in a bubble. Actually, we had this discussion today with some of my castmates because like, on social media, for example, which is such an important part of our lives, it's not only business, but it's how we interact with fans, when we post something, we pretty much get almost nothing but love from our fans because the people who follow us are people who really love the show and they want to see what we're up to. But as soon as we sort of step outside of that and if we go on like a nighttime show or something if you start looking at the comments one of my castmates was mentioning like there's some people who aren't that open minded who have very negative, gross things to say sometimes. And I think, while I don't engage in that and I try not to look at the comments I think it's important to know that those people still exist. But my thing, one of my mentors always told me he was like, 'Antoni, stay in your lane,' and I just try to focus on being a good person and figuring out what the next right move is. And just trying to be an example and like visibility has been I think one of the main buzzwords of the past two years of just like being out there. And I get stressed out when I think of, like, when I get asked like, what does it feel like to be an example or to be like a spokesperson for the LGBTQIA plus community, that makes me very nervous because I'm not an expert in anything except my opinions about food and dogs and maybe scented candles, but I just try to I try to stay in my lane and I just try to think, I don't know, when I think of people who've inspired me in my life. I just try to think like with everything that I do like would I be making them proud."
