డీఆర్​ఎస్​పై మరోసారి కోహ్లీ అసహనం

నిర్ణయ సమీక్ష పద్ధతి (డీఆర్​ఎస్​)పై మరోసారి రగడ ప్రారంభమయింది. ఆసీస్‌తో మొహాలీలో జరిగిన నాలుగో వన్డేలో టర్నర్​ ఔట్​పై సమీక్ష కోరిన టీమిండియాకు ...ప్రతికూల ఫలితం ఎదురైంది. దీనిపై భారత జట్టు సారథి విరాట్​ అసంతృప్తి తెలిపాడు. ఔటైనా అంపైర్​ తుది నిర్ణయం నాటౌట్​గా ప్రకటించడంపై ఈ సమీక్ష చర్చనీయాంశమయింది.

తీర్పు మార్చని డీఆర్​ఎస్​...కోహ్లీ అసహానం

ప్రత్యర్థి ముందు భారీ లక్ష్యం ఉంచినా ఓడిపోతే...దానికి డీఆర్​ఎస్​ వంటి సాంకేతికత ఓ కారణమైతే...అది చాలా పెద్ద విషయమే. అందుకే కోహ్లీ తన అసంతృప్తిని వెల్లడించాడు. ఫలితంగా సమీక్ష విధానంపై వెల్లువెత్తిన అనుమానాలపై మళ్లీ చర్చ జరుగుతోంది.

నాలుగో వన్డేలో టీమిండియా ఓటమికి ప్రధాన కారణం టర్నర్‌ ఉతుకుడే.. ఈ ఆసిస్​ ఆటగాడు 27 బంతుల్లో 38 పరుగులు చేసి ప్రమాదకరంగా మారుతున్నప్పుడు...చాహల్‌ బౌలింగ్‌లో మొదట స్టంపౌట్‌ నుంచి తప్పించుకున్నాడు. రిషబ్‌పంత్‌ బంతిని అందుకోలేకపోవడంతో ఔటయ్యే ఛాన్స్​ తప్పించుకున్నాడు. అదే ఓవర్‌లో టర్నర్‌ తరవాత బంతికి కీపర్‌కు క్యాచ్‌ ఇచ్చాడు. అంపైర్​ నాటౌట్​ ఇవ్వడంతో సమీక్ష కోరిన టీమిండియా రీప్లేలో బంతి బ్యాట్‌కు తగిలినట్లు కనిపించింది. అయినా మూడో అంపైర్‌ ఔటివ్వకపోవడంతో టీమిండియా కెప్టెన్‌ విరాట్‌కోహ్లీ తీవ్ర అసంతృప్తికి గురయ్యాడు. ఈ ఘటన తర్వాతే టర్నర్‌ రెచ్చిపోయి 16 బంతుల్లో 46 పరుగులు బాది ఆసీస్‌ జట్టును టైటిల్​ పోరులో నిలిపాడు.

‘చాహల్‌ బౌలింగ్‌లో టర్నర్‌ బ్యాట్‌కు బంతి తగిలినట్లు రీప్లేలో కనిపించింది. అయినా అంపైర్‌ ఔటివ్వలేదు.ఈ సమీక్ష పద్ధతి సరిగ్గా లేదు. అంపైర్‌ నిర్ణయం ఆశ్చర్యం కలిగించింది. డీఆర్ఎస్‌ పద్ధతికి స్థిరత్వం అవసరం. ప్రతిసారీ ఇదొక చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారుతోంది’.

"Is that yesterday evening we formed a more (inaudible) team. Basically, to help in the coordination of addressing all the issues which are rising, with regard to the matter which I just mentioned. This will take this team, who will be formed what we're calling a disaster response team. Basically, drawing together all the key agencies which are relevant in terms of this particular response. Within the team, we have Kenya Civil Aviation authority, KCAA. We have a National Disaster Management Unit, which is domiciled in the Ministry of Interior. We have the Kenya Airports Authority. We have the Port Health. We have the Air Accident Investigation, which is the Ministry of Transport. We have Ethiopian Airlines. We also have Kenya Airways because of the various issues which interface in our sector. We have the Kenya Airport's police unit and we have immigration. And last but not least, we do have the government chemist. Because, we may have to trouble for identification in Ethiopia."

"Thank you. Just to give you an latest update on the incident as of, as of yesterday, we have grounded all Boeing 737 Dash 8 MAX fleet which Ethiopia Airlines was operating and which was involved in yesterday's accident as a precaution safety measure. But, this does not mean that the incident was related these defects on this specific fleet. But, we have taken this as an extra safety precaution, so that the remaining investigation will continue."

STORYLINE:
A spokesperson for Ethiopian Airlines said on Monday that the company has grounded all of its Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft, following the crash of one of its planes in which all 157 people onboard were killed.
  
The aircraft, which was bound for the Kenyan capital Nairobi, came down minutes after taking off from Addis Ababa on Sunday.
Ethiopian Airlines Kenyan Area Manager Yilma Goshu did not specify how long the company's remaining four 737 Max 8 planes would remain grounded.
"We have taken this as an extra safety precaution, so that the remaining investigation will continue," Goshu said.
Kenyan Transport Minister James Macharia also said a disaster response team had been formed to aid with the investigation.
  
The incident has also prompted China's civilian aviation authority to order all Chinese airlines to temporarily ground their Boeing 737 Max 8 planes as world carriers assessed the situation following the crash.
It said the order was carried out because the crash was the second after another of the planes fell into the ocean off the coast of Indonesia in similar circumstances on October 29, killing all 189 people on board.
