ఇండియన్ ప్రీమియర్ లీగ్ (ఐపీఎల్) సీజన్-12 ఈ నెల 23 నుంచి ప్రారంభం కానుంది. అయితే ఈ ఐపీఎల్ పాకిస్థాన్లో జరుగుతుందని నోరు జారాడు పాక్ ఆటగాడు ఉమర్ అక్మల్.

భారత్లో పేరుగాంచిన ఐపీఎల్ వచ్చే ఏడాది పాకిస్థాన్లో జరుగుతుందన్నాడు పాక్ ఆటగాడు ఉమర్ అక్మల్. పాకిస్థాన్ ప్రీమియర్ లీగ్(పీఎస్‌ఎల్‌)కు బదులుగా 'ఐపీఎల్' అని వ్యాఖ్యానించి నాలుక కరచుకున్నాడీ దాయాది ప్లేయర్.

పీఎస్‌ఎల్‌ను మొదటి నుంచి దుబాయిలోనే నిర్వహించేవారు. కొన్ని మ్యాచ్‌లు, ఫైనల్ మ్యాచ్‌ మాత్రమే పాకిస్థాన్‌లో జరిగేవి. తాజా సీజన్‌లో లీగ్ మ్యాచ్‌లకు విదేశంలోనే ఆతిథ్యం లభిస్తుండగా...ప్లే ఆఫ్‌ మ్యాచ్‌లు కరాచీలో జరగనున్నాయి.
పాకిస్థాన్ సూపర్ లీగ్‌లో 'క్వెట్టా గ్లాడియేటర్స్‌' జట్టుకు ప్రాతినిథ్యం వహిస్తున్న ఉమర్ అక్మల్ ఓ వీడియోని ట్విట్టర్‌లో అభిమానులతో పంచుకున్నాడు. ‘సొంతగడ్డపై అభిమానుల మద్దతు ఉంటే..వచ్చే ఐపీఎల్ పాకిస్థాన్‌లోనే జరుగుతుంది’ అని ఉమర్ అక్మల్ అన్నాడు. వెంటనే తేరుకుని సారీ.. పీఎస్‌ఎల్‌ పాకిస్థాన్‌లోనే జరుగుతుందని సరిదిద్దుకునే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు.
