STORYLINE
German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas told reporters in Berlin that there was hopeful news out of Brussels indicating that a disorderly Brexit will be avoided.
This is proof that we all worked very responsibly together, he said.
Maas called the tentative deal nothing less than a diplomatic feat but cautioned that it still needs to be discussed by the European Council and the European Parliament.
"But we are very glad that a deal has apparently been found."
