గువహటి వేదికగా ఇంగ్లండ్తో రేపు చివరి టీ-20 ఆడనుంది భారత మహిళా జట్టు. ఇప్పటికే 2-0తో సిరీస్ కోల్పోయిన టీమిండియా ఎలాగైనా గెలవాలనే పట్టుదలతో ఉంది.

వన్డే సిరీస్ను 2-1 తేడాతో గెలిచిన భారత మహిళా జట్టు టీ20లో ఆ స్థాయి ప్రదర్శన కనబర్చలేకపోయింది. ఇప్పటికే సిరీస్ కోల్పోయిన మంధాన సేన... ఆఖరి మ్యాచ్లో అయినా గెలిచి పరువు నిలుపుకోవాలని భావిస్తోంది. పొట్టి ఫార్మాట్లో భారత్ ఇప్పటికే ఆరు మ్యాచులు వరుసగా ఓడిపోయింది. వచ్చే ఏడాది జరిగే ప్రపంచకప్ ముందు ఇలాంటి ప్రదర్శన జట్టు మేనేజ్మెంట్ను కలవరపెడుతోంది.

"Last year right around this time, dozens of women across Iran took to city streets to protest the law requiring them to wear the hijab in public at all times. In an exercise of their freedom these courageous women remove their hijabs in front of cameras, their faces clearly visible. They did so knowing the brutality of their leaders. And sure enough a year ago tomorrow an International Women's Day state police swarmed their protest. Many women were arrested. Some face torture and beatings in jail. At least one was sentenced to 20 years behind bars and others were forced to flee abroad. The plight of these Iranian women is just one example of the danger facing many women who have the courage so often shown in the face of it."

STORYLINE:
US First Lady Melania Trump honoured women from around the world with international courage awards in Washington on Thursday.
Speaking at the ceremony, the first lady said that courage was one of the qualities society needed most, while it was what propelled the world forward.
Mrs. Trump joined US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the State Department to confer awards on 10 women from Bangladesh, Djibouti, Egypt, Ireland, Jordan, Montenegro, Myanmar, Peru, Sri Lanka and Tanzania.
The State Department has honoured more than 120 women from scores of countries since it created the International Women of Courage Award in 2007.
Pompeo also recognized the women of Iran for protesting the requirement that they wear headscarves in public.
