యాషెస్ సిరీస్ మూడో టెస్టు మ్యాచ్ రసవత్తరంగా మారుతోంది. తొలి ఇన్నింగ్స్లో ఆస్ట్రేలియా 179 పరుగులకే ఆలౌట్కాగా.. అనంతరం బ్యాటింగ్కు దిగిన ఇంగ్లాండ్ 67 పరుగులకే కుప్పకూలింది. లీడ్స్ వేదికగా జరుగుతున్న ఈ మ్యాచ్లో ఆసీస్ బౌలర్లు హజిల్వుడ్ 5, ప్యాట్ కమిన్స్ 3, ప్యాటిన్సన్ 2 వికెట్లతో ఇంగ్లీష్ బ్యాట్స్మెన్కు బంతులతో నిప్పులు చెరిగారు.

"They threw bricks and used lasers at these premises in order to try terrorize the police officers' families. So a psychological war is being mounted against them, in addition to the physical attacks, which are taking place week in and week out. So it's a very, very difficult time for the police, even their children are sometimes being abused in the schools. So this is a terrible time for the police, and it is absolutely vital that everyone in Hong Kong not only recognizes this but rallies around the police force at this very difficult time, and gives them maximum support."

"That whole thing is actually highly organized, and there are forces behind it, who are using the protest movement to try to undermine China itself. We could see for example, they have huge amounts of money. It takes a lot of money to supply all the equipment, which is being used in these demonstrations. When the bomb factory was found in Tin Shui Wai on Aug.1, it contained about 30 petro-bombs, but also was found approximately half a million dollars in cash. So in no doubt at all, there's a lot of money behind this."

People in the Hong Kong Special Administration Region (HKSAR) should thank and give a maximum support to the Hong Kong police, said a former Hong Kong chief prosecutor on Thursday.
Former Hong Kong chief prosecutor Grenville Cross regretted about the recent riots and violent action in Hong Kong, especially the unfair treatment of the Hong Kong police.
Cross said the Hong Kong police have demonstrated their professionalism and restraint in dealing with the riots. Many young police officers in particular have been working around the clock in spite of their own safety, yet some people maliciously slander their normal conduct of law enforcement, which is unfair.

To the riots in Hong Kong this time, Cross said there is clearly money behind it.
"That whole thing is actually highly organized, and there are forces behind it, who are using the protest movement to try to undermine China itself. Cross noted that the series of violent acts are marring the reputation of Hong Kong. This is a black page in the history of Hong Kong. If Hong Kong wants to develop in the future, a close tie withe the Chinese inland is indispensable.
"Hong Kong's future lies in being a responsible part of the nation and in pulling its weight and in cooperating with the other parts of China. If it does that, it has a very bright future ahead,"said Cross.
