3. SOUNDBITE (Hebrew) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
"This week we will mark one year since the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem. The official residence of the US Ambassador is also moving to Jerusalem; thus, in effect, the Congressional decision will be implemented. We very much appreciate this historic decision by President Trump, just as we very much appreciate his historic decision to recognise Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights. I promised that we would establish a community named after President Trump. I would like to inform you that we have already selected a site on the Golan Heights where this new community will be established, and we have started the process. I will submit a decision for official approval by the new government once it is formed.

5. SOUNDBITE (Hebrew) Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
"We are also ahead of another event, the opening of the Eurovision celebrations today in Israel. First of all I wish good luck to all participants, and of course the best will win, and of course it will be Kobi Merimi."

STORYLINE:
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday a location has been found for a new settlement in the Golan Heights to be named after US President Donald Trump.
The honour is to be bestowed on the US President out of gratitude for the White House's recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the territory, Netanyahu said at his weekly cabinet meeting.
On March, Trump officially recognised Israeli sovereignty over the territory it captured from Syria in the 1967 Mideast War.
Israel annexed the mountain plateau in 1981, a move unrecognised by most of the international community.
An estimated 20,000 Israelis live in Golan Heights settlements, which most of the international community considers illegal.
Israel this year is hosting the Eurovision song contest after Israeli singer Netta Barzilai won last year.
Netanyahu wished luck to all participants and added "the best will win, and of course it will be Kobi Merimi," who will be representing Israel in the contest.
