షాహిద్ కపూర్ హీరోగా నటించిన 'కబీర్ సింగ్​' 100 కోట్ల మార్క్​ను అందుకుంది. ప్రస్తుతం బాక్సాఫీస్​ వద్ద దూకుడు ప్రదర్శిస్తోందీ చిత్రం. షాహిద్ నటనకు ప్రశంసలు దక్కుతున్నాయి.

బాలీవుడ్​లో ఇటీవలే వచ్చిన 'కబీర్ సింగ్'.. బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద పరుగులు పెడుతోంది. ఐదు రోజుల్లోనే 100 కోట్ల మార్క్​ను అందుకుంది. హీరో షాహిద్ కపూర్​ కెరీర్​లో ఈ ఘనత సాధించిన తొలి చిత్రమిదే. సినిమాలోని అతడి బోల్డ్ నటన యువతరాన్ని థియేటర్ల వైపు రప్పిస్తోంది. కియారా అడ్వాణీ హీరోయిన్​గా నటించింది.

తెలుగులో బ్లాక్​బస్టర్​గా నిలిచిన 'అర్జున్ రెడ్డి'కు రీమేక్​గా ఈ సినిమాను రూపొందించారు. రెండింటికి దర్శకత్వం వహించింది సందీప్ రెడ్డి వంగా కావడం విశేషం. ఈ సినిమాపైనా కొన్ని వివాదాలు వచ్చినా.. కలెక్షన్​పైనా అవేవి ప్రభావం చూపలేకపోతున్నాయి.

This is Iran certainly versus the region and arguably the broader global environment. So, we need to all work together and get on a diplomatic path and reach a new better agreement than what we had before."

But look it's clear Iran has admitted they shot down our unmanned drone and we know that clearly, it was in international airspace. And we know and we have photographic evidence that they were involved in attacks on some of the ships and those weren't just American ships. Those were non-American ships. And so Iran has to be held to account for its actions. Look, one of the things that we need to defend is the principle of freedom of navigation and that's not just for the United States. But that's for all members of the international community. And Iran is threatening that right now with its actions not just maritime freedom but aerospace freedom."

This is not just a military… we're not trying to build a military coalition as much as a coalition writ large of like-minded allies who share our concerns about freedom of navigation, who share our concerns about Iran's nuclear pursuits in the past or missile technologies and frankly their malign activities in the region. All those countries who are concerned and should be concerned about that I think need to act together to do to deal with Iran and get us on a diplomatic path so we can come to a peaceful resolution of this."

STORYLINE:
The Trump administration aims to persuade allies the confrontation with Iran is "not Iran versus the United States" but rather a global challenge requiring global diplomacy, the new acting Pentagon chief said Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters traveling with him to a meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, Mark Esper said he wants to help form a broader coalition to deter Iran and compel its leaders to return to the negotiating table.
President Donald Trump withdrew the United States last year from an international deal to limit Iran's nuclear program and then reinstated harsh economic sanctions.
He has said he wants to work out an even more restrictive deal with Tehran.
Iran, however, denounced the latest U.S. sanctions as "idiotic" and an obstacle to talks.
Acting U.S. Secretary of Defense Esper's arrival in Europe was meant to reinforce a message delivered this week by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Pompeo conferred with leaders in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates about countering any military threat from Iran by building a broad coalition that includes Asian and European countries.
Officials said they hope this would include a wider international effort to monitor shipping in the Persian Gulf to deter Iranian attacks.
Esper faces a tall order, however.
His first major appearance in his new job will be on Wednesday at NATO, the alliance that Trump has frequently bashed as a collection of freeloaders.
And European leaders have appeared cool to the US approach to Iran.
Europe wants more emphasis on minimizing the chances of war, especially after the events of last week when Trump approved military retaliation for the shooting down of a US military drone but withdrew the order at the last minute.
Since then, the administration has publicly emphasized its goal of "internationalizing" the Iran crisis.
Esper said his goal is, first, for allies to express outrage at Iran's activities, which the US says include the drone shootdown and bombings of several tanker ships in the Gulf of Oman.
Second, he said he wants allies to support "any range of activities" to help deter conflict with Iran.
"This is the reason why we need to internationalize this issue and have our allies and partners work with us to get Iran to come back to the negotiating table and talk about the way ahead," he said.
