గాయని చిన్మయి శ్రీపాద చేసిన మీటూ ఆరోపణలపై విచారణ జరపుతామని కేంద్ర మంత్రి మేనకాగాంధీ తెలిపారు.

గత అక్టోబరులో గాయని చిన్మయి చేసిన మీటూ ఆరోపణలపై ఎట్టకేలకు కేంద్రం స్పందించింది. మహిళా శిశు సంక్షేమ శాఖ మంత్రి మేనకా గాంధీ..ఈ సమస్యను పరిష్కారిస్తామని ఆమెకు ట్విట్టర్​ వేదికగా హామీ ఇచ్చారు.

దిగ్గజ తమిళ పాటల రచయిత వైరిముత్తు.. తనను 18 ఏళ్ల వయసులో లైంగికంగా వేధించాడని చిన్మయి ఆరోపణలు చేసింది. తమని కూడా అతను వేధించాడని ఈ సంఘటన తర్వాత ఎందరో వర్ధమాన గాయనిలు ఆరోపించారు.

STORYLINE:
North Korean media has quoted Kim Jong Un as calling the recent Hanoi summit with Donald Trump a "successful meeting" and promising the US leader to meet again.
There was no mention of differences over sanctions relief or denuclearisation in the North Korean media account.
News of the results of the summit only came out inside North Korea on Friday morning.
State news agency KCNA said that Kim and Trump had "a constructive and candid exchange of their opinions over the practical issues of opening up a new era of improvement in DPRK-US relations".
The same report referred to the two leaders saying that they could "create a significant advance in DPRK-US relations...if they firmly join hands to overcome hardships and difficulties with wisdom and patience."
Open discussion in public of the North Korean leader's activities is not normal in the socialist state.
People on the streets of Pyongyang Friday could only repeat expressions of longing for their leader, rather than discuss the specifics of the summit, and North Korea's relations with the US.
The main state run newspaper, the Workers' Daily, came out in the late afternoon Friday, with plenty of photographs of Thursday's meetings between Kim and Trump.
But on television, no images have yet been shown, neither photos nor video. Likely only after Kim Jong Un returns home will all of that come out on TV.
