US Cop Laughing : అమెరికాలో తెలుగు అమ్మాయి జాహ్నవి మృతి కేసుపై భారత్​ చేసిన అభ్యర్థనకు అంగీకారం తెలిపింది అగ్రరాజ్యం. ఈ ఘటనపై సమగ్ర దర్యాప్తు చేపడతామంటూ హామీ ఇచ్చింది.

US Cop Laughing : అమెరికాలో జరిగిన రోడ్డు ప్రమాదంలో తెలుగు విద్యార్థిని జాహ్నవి కందుల మృతి చెందిన ఘటనపై... సమగ్ర దర్యాప్తు చేపడతామంటూ హామీ ఇచ్చింది అమెరికా ప్రభుత్వం. ఈ ఘటనపై వెంటనే దర్యాప్తు చేపట్టి.. కారకులైన వారిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని స్పష్టం చేసింది. భారత రాయబారి కోరిన వెంటనే.. ఈ ఘటనపై చర్యలు చేపట్టింది అగ్రరాజ్యం. మరోవైపు శాన్​ఫ్రాన్సిస్కోలోని భారత కాన్సులేట్ జనరల్​ ఈ ఘటనపై సైతం తీవ్రంగా స్పందించారు. ఈ కేసు దర్యాప్తును సియాటిల్​, ప్రభుత్వ ఉన్నతాధికారులతో పాటు తాము నిశితంగా పరిశీలిస్తామని పేర్కొన్నారు.

US Cop Caught On Tape Laughing Telugu Student Death : అంతకుముందు సియాటిల్ పోలీసు అధికారి చులకనగా మాట్లాడిన వీడియోపై భారత ప్రభుత్వం తీవ్రంగా స్పందించింది. ఈ దృశ్యాలపై వెంటనే దర్యాప్తు జరపాలని అమెరికాను కోరింది. ఈ మేరకు శాన్‌ఫ్రాన్సిస్కోలోని భారత దౌత్యకార్యాలయం ట్వీట్ చేసింది. మృతి కేసు విచారణలో భాగంగా తాజాగా వెలుగులోకి వచ్చిన కథనాలు తీవ్ర దిగ్భ్రాంతికి గురిచేశాయని.. సియాటిల్‌ అలాగే వాషింగ్టన్‌లోని ఉన్నతాధికారుల దృష్టికి ఈ విషయాన్ని తీసుకెళ్లామని భారత రాయభార కార్యాలయం పోస్ట్‌ చేసింది. దీనిపై పూర్తిస్థాయి విచారణ జరపాలని డిమాండ్ చేశామని... అలాగే సంబంధిత అధికారులతో ఎప్పటికప్పుడు సంప్రదింపులు జరుపుతున్నామని వివరించింది.

మరోవైపు జాహ్నవికి న్యాయం చేయాలంటూ ప్రముఖ సోషల్​ మీడియా ట్విట్టర్​(ప్రస్తుతం ఎక్స్​)లో నెటిజన్లు డిమాండ్ చేస్తున్నారు. 'జస్టిస్ ఫర్ జాహ్నవి' అనే హ్యాష్ ట్యాగ్​తో పలువురు ట్వీట్లు చేస్తున్నారు. నిందితుడైన పోలీస్ అధికారిని కఠినంగా శిక్షించాలంటూ ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా డిమాండ్​ చేస్తున్నారు.

కర్నూలు జిల్లా ఆదోని MIG కాలనీకి చెందిన 23 ఏళ్ల కందుల జాహ్నవి డిగ్రీ పూర్తి చేసిన తర్వాత.. ఉన్నత చదువుల కోసం 2021లో అమెరికా వెళ్లింది. ఈ ఏడాది జనవరి 23న కళాశాల నుంచి ఇంటికి వెళ్లే క్రమంలో రోడ్డు దాటుతుండగా పోలీసు పెట్రోలింగ్‌ వాహనం ఢీకొట్టింది. ఈ ప్రమాదంలో తీవ్రంగా గాయపడ్డ జాహ్నవి అక్కడికక్కడే ప్రాణాలు విడిచింది. ఈ ఘటనపై సియాటిల్‌ నగరానికి చెందిన ఓ పోలీసు అధికారి జోకులు వేసుకుంటూ నవ్వుతూ మాట్లాడారు. ఆ మాటలన్నీ అతడి శరీరానికి అమర్చిన కెమెరాలో రికార్డయ్యాయి. అవి తాజాగా వెలుగులోకి రావడం వల్ల ఆయన తీరుపై ఉన్నతాధికారులు విచారణకు ఆదేశించారు.
