కశ్మీర్‌ అంశంపై అంతర్జాతీయ మద్దతు కూడగట్టేందుకు విఫలయత్నాలు చేస్తున్న పాకిస్థాన్‌కు మరో ఎదురుదెబ్బ తగిలింది. అంతర్జాతీయ మానవ హక్కుల కమిషన్ (యూఎన్‌హెచ్‌ఆర్సీ)లో గడువులోపు తీర్మానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టలేకపోయింది.

జెనీవాలో జరుతున్న యూఎన్‌హెచ్‌ఆర్సీ 42వ సమావేశంలో తీర్మానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టేందుకు ఈ నెల 19వ తేదీ చివరి గడువు. తీర్మానాన్ని ప్రవేశపెట్టేందుకు కనీసం 16 దేశాల మద్దతు అవసరం. కానీ, పాక్‌ అందులో విఫలమైంది. దీంతో తీర్మానం ప్రవేశపెట్టలేకపోయింది.

ఈ నెల తొమ్మిదో తేదీన ప్రారంభమైన యూఎన్‌హెచ్‌ఆర్సీ సమావేశాలు 27వ తేదీతో ముగియనున్నాయి. జెనీవా బయలుదేరడానికి ముందు పాకిస్థాన్ విదేశాంగశాఖ మంత్రి షా మహ్మద్ ఖురేషి మాట్లాడుతూ కశ్మీర్‌పై యూఎన్‌హెచ్‌ఆర్సీలో తీర్మానాన్ని కచ్చితంగా ప్రవేశపెడతామని బీరాలు పోయారు.

తమ వాదనకు మద్దతు ఇవ్వాలని సభ్య దేశాలను కోరతామని గాంభీర్యం ప్రదర్శించారు. కానీ, చివరకు కనీస సభ్యుల మద్దతు కూడగట్టడంలో విఫలమై తమకు అండగా ఎవరూ లేరన్న విషయాన్ని బహిర్గతం చేసుకున్నారు.
