దాదాపు 200 బిలియన్ డాలర్ల విలువైన చైనా ఉత్పత్తులపై 25 శాతం వరకు పన్నులు విధించారు అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడు డొనాల్డ్ ట్రంప్. అయినప్పటికీ ఇరుదేశాల మధ్య వాణిజ్య చర్చలు జరుగుతాయని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు.

అమెరికా-చైనా వాణిజ్య ఒప్పందంపై ఇరుదేశాల ప్రతినిధులు రెండు రోజులపాటు వాణిజ్య చర్చలు జరుపుతారని అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడు డొనాల్డ్ ట్రంప్ స్పష్టం చేశారు. మొత్తం 200 బిలియన్ డాలర్ల విలువైన చైనా వస్తువులపై 10 శాతంగా ఉన్న సుంకాలను 25 శాతానికి పెంచింది అమెరికా. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో ఇరుదేశాల మధ్య వాణిజ్య చర్చలపై నీలినీడలు కమ్ముకున్నాయి. అయితే ఇరుదేశాల మధ్య వాణిజ్య చర్చలు కొనసాగుతాయని ట్రంప్ తాజాగా వరుస ట్వీట్లు చేశారు.

"చైనా ఉత్పత్తులపై విధించిన సుంకాలను తొలగించొచ్చు లేదా అలాగే ఉంచొచ్చు. ఇదంతా భవిష్యత్లో జరిగే చర్చల మీద ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది."

ట్రంప్ తాను ముందు నుంచి చేస్తోన్న హెచ్చరికలను నిజం చేస్తూ, చైనా ఉత్పత్తులపై సుంకాలను పెంచారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో బీజింగ్ ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకునే అవకాశం ఉంది.

ప్రతీకారం తప్పదు..

చైనా ఉత్పత్తులపై ట్రంప్ ప్రభుత్వం సుంకాలు పెంచడంపై చైనా వాణిజ్య మంత్రిత్వశాఖ విచారం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. ప్రతిచర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించింది. అయినప్పటికీ వాషింగ్టన్లో జరిగే తదుపరి వాణిజ్య చర్చల్లో చైనా ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు లియూ పాల్గొననున్నారు.
