ప్రధాని మోదీ అమెరికాలోని హ్యూస్టన్ నగరానికి చేరుకున్నారు. ఆదివారం హౌడీ మోదీ కార్యక్రమానికి హాజరుకానున్నారు. 27వరకు అగ్రరాజ్యంలో మోదీ పర్యటన కొనసాగనుంది.

ఆరు రోజుల అమెరికా పర్యటనలో భాగంగా ప్రధానమంత్రి నరేంద్ర మోదీ శనివారం టెక్సాస్లోని హ్యూస్టన్ నగరానికి చేరుకున్నారు. అగ్రరాజ్య వాణిజ్య, అంతర్జాతీయ వ్యవహారాల డైరెక్టర్ క్రిస్టఫర్ ఓల్సన్ సహా పలువురు అధికారులు మోదీకి స్వాగతం పలికారు.

ఆదివారం హ్యూస్టన్లో జరగనున్న 'హౌడీ మోదీ' కార్యక్రమంలో మోదీ పాల్గొననున్నారు. ఈ వేడుకకు సుమారు 50వేల మంది హాజరవుతారని అధికారులు అంచనా వేస్తున్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొంటానని అమెరికా అధ్యక్షుడు డొనాల్డ్ ట్రంప్ ప్రకటించడం వల్ల ఈ 'హౌడీ మోదీ' హాట్ టాపిక్గా మారింది.

ఈ పర్యటనలో ట్రంప్తో భేటీకానున్నారు మోదీ. వాణిజ్యం సహా అనేక అంశాలపై అగ్రనేతలు చర్చించనున్నారు. 27న ఐరాస సాధారణ అసెంబ్లీలో ప్రసగించనున్నారు మోదీ.

"We were told about an explosion on al Wand road by the checkpoint. So we went to the checkpoint and they told us there that they transferred the bodies and the injured people to the hospital. So we came to the hospital and recognised the bodies of three of my family. I have three gone, martyrs."

STORYLINE:
Relatives of those who died in a bombing outside the Shiite holy city of Karbala gathered at a morgue on Saturday to collect the bodies of their loved ones.
According to Iraqi security officials, the death toll in the attack has risen to 12 and five passengers were wounded.
The attack happened on Friday, as the bus was passing through an Iraqi army checkpoint between Karbala and the town of Hilla.
Mohammed Ali, an engineer from Karbala, lost three of his family members in the attack, which took place during a holy period marked by Shiites in Iraq between two important religious events, Ashoura and Arbaeen
He confirmed their identities in the morgue and brought coffins to take the bodies home for burial.
The blast was one of the biggest attacks targeting civilians since the extremist Islamic State (IS) group was declared defeated inside Iraq in 2017.
The group's sleeper cells continue to wage an insurgency and carry out sporadic attacks across the country.
Iraq's Prime Minister, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, said security forces have detained a man suspected of detonating the bomb.
