గడ్డి వల్ల 86 కార్లు బుగ్గి... రూ.145 కోట్లు నష్టం

అమెరికా కాలిఫోర్నియా రాష్ట్రంలోని బేకర్స్ఫీల్డ్లో 86 కార్లు అగ్నికి ఆహుతయ్యాయి. గడ్డికి అంటుకున్న మంటలు కార్ల వరకు చేరడమే కారణంగా తెలుస్తోంది. ప్రమాదం వల్ల 2.1 మిలియన్ డాలర్లు నష్టం జరిగినట్లు అంచనా.

ఒకటి కాదు రెండు కాదు... ఏకంగా 86 కార్లు మంటల్లో కాలిపోయాయి. అమెరికాలోని కాలిఫోర్నియా రాష్ట్రంలో ఈ ఘటన జరిగింది. బేకర్స్ఫీల్డ్ ప్రాంతంలోని 'కార్ మాక్స్' కార్ల డీలర్షిప్కు చెందిన పార్కింగ్ ఏరియాలో నిలిపి ఉంచిన కార్లకు ప్రమాదవశాత్తు మంటలు అంటుకున్నాయి.

ఈ ఘటనలో 26 కార్లు పూర్తిగా కాలి బూడిదవగా మరో 60 వాహనాలు ధ్వంసమయ్యాయి. స్థానిక కాలమానం ప్రకారం సోమవారం మధ్యాహ్నం ఈ ఘటన జరిగింది. ఫలితంగా 2.1 మిలియన్ డాలర్ల నష్టం జరిగినట్లు అంచనా.

20 ఎకరాల మేర విస్తరించిన మంటలను ఆర్పేందుకు అగ్ని మాపక సిబ్బంది తీవ్రంగా శ్రమించాల్సి వచ్చింది. ఈ ఘటనలో ఎలాంటి ప్రాణనష్టం సంభవించలేదు.

We also have a common objective to achieve that larger goal, and that is that no foreign forces that arrived in Syria after 2011 remain in Syria. We think there are also ways to achieve this common goal which will create a more stable Middle East or at least a more stable Middle East in this part of that region. I believe that the outcome that I just described, the departure of all foreign forces from Syria who entered Syria after 2011, will be good for Russia, good for the United States, good for Israel, and may I add, good for Syria. We look forward to discussing concrete ways to achieve this goal, which is critical for successfully implementing UN security council resolution 2254."

As both of you know, Israel has acted hundreds of times to prevent Iran from entrenching itself militarily in Syria while it actively and openly calls and works for our destruction. We've acted hundreds of times to prevent Iran from delivering increasingly sophisticated weaponry to Hezbollah or to form a second front in the north against us from the Golan Heights. Israel will continue to prevent Iran from using neighbouring territory as platforms to attack us and Israel will respond forcefully to any such attacks."

"There is simply no evidence that Iran has made the strategic decision to renounce nuclear weapons and open realistic discussions to demonstrate that decision. In just a few days, perhaps by the end of the week, Iran has threaten to exceed key limits imposed by the inadequate 2015 Iran nuclear deal, exposing once again the fatal deficiencies of that failed agreement. As I indicated on Sunday, Mr. Prime Minister, President Trump yesterday imposed significant new sanctions on Iran's supreme leader and other top leadership individuals and entities. At the same time, the President has held the door open to real negotiations to completely and verifiably eliminate Iran's nuclear weapons program, its pursuit of ballistic missile delivery systems, its support for international terrorism and its other maligned behaviour worldwide. All that Iran needs to do is to walk through that open door."

STORYLINE:
U.S. National Security Adviser John Bolton says President Trump is open to real negotiations and "all that Iran needs to do is walk through that open door."
Speaking at a high-profile trilateral security summit in Jerusalem on Tuesday, Bolton said American envoys are surging across the region in hopes of finding a path out of escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran but that the silence of the Islamic Republic has been "deafening."
"There is simply no evidence that Iran has made the strategic decision to renounce nuclear weapons," Bolton said.
His comments, alongside his Israeli and Russian counterparts, come after Iran slammed the Trump administration over new U.S. sanctions targeting its supreme leader.
Iran's Foreign Ministry says the measures spell a "permanent closure" to diplomacy between the U.S and Iran.
