Uppena National Film Awards winner : 2021 ఏడాదికి గాను ప్రతిష్టాత్మక 69వ జాతీయ చలన చిత్ర పురస్కారాలను కేంద్రం ప్రకటించింది. ఉత్తమ స్పెషల్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్ అవార్డులు, స్టెంట్ కొరియోగ్రాఫర్ అవార్డులు 'ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్'కు దక్కగా.. ఉత్తమ తెలుగు సినిమాగా 'ఉప్పెన' ఎంపికైంది. బెస్ట్ మలయాళం సినిమాగా హోమ్ను ప్రకటించారు. ఉత్తమ హిందీ సినిమా సర్దార్ ఉదమ్ను ఎంపిక చేశారు. బెస్ట్ గుజరాతీ ఫిల్మ్గా ఛెల్లో షోను ప్రకటించారు.
Uppena National Award : మెగాహీరో వైష్ణవ్ తేజ్-యంగ్ బ్యూటీ కృతిశెట్టి కీలక పాత్రల్లో నటించిన చిత్రం 'ఉప్పెన'. ఈ సినిమాను డైరెక్టర్ బుచ్చిబాబు తెరకెక్కించారు. అటు దర్శకుడికి.. ఇటు హీరో హీరోయిన్కు కెరీర్లో ఇదే తొలి చిత్రం కావడం విశేషం. కాగా ఈ సినిమాకు ప్రేక్షకుల నుంచి విశేష ఆదరణ లభించింది. తమిళ స్టార్ హీరో విజయ్‌ సేతుపతి ఈ చిత్రంలో హైలైట్గా నిలిచారు. 2021లో రిలీజైన ఈ చిత్రం కలెక్షన్ల వర్షం కురిపించింది. ఈ సినిమా విజయం తర్వాత హీరోయిన్ కృతిశెట్టి.. వరుస ఆఫర్లను అందుకొని టాలీవుడ్లో దూసుకుపోతోంది.

RRR National Fim Awards : మరోవైపు దర్శకధీరుడు రాజమౌళి భారీ బడ్జెట్తో తెరకెక్కించిన 'ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్' సినిమాకు అవార్డుల వెల్లువ కొనసాగింది. ఉత్తమ మ్యూజిక్ డైరెక్టర్ (బ్యాక్గ్రౌండ్ స్కోర్), ఉత్తమ నేపథ్య గాయకుడు (కాల భైరవ- కొమురం భీముడో), ఉత్తమ స్పెషల్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్ (శ్రీనివాస మోహన్‌), స్టంట్ కొరియోగ్రాఫర్ (ప్రేమ్‌రక్షిత్‌), ఉత్తమ యాక్షన్‌ డైరక్షన్‌ ( కింగ్‌ సాలమన్‌), అత్యంత ప్రజాదరణ పొందిన చిత్రం ఇలా ఆరు కేటగిరీల్లో 'ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్' సినిమా అవార్డులు అందుకుంది. తమ సినిమాకు ఆరు కేటగిరీల్లో జాతీయ పురస్కారం దక్కడం వల్ల డైరెక్టర్ రాజమౌళి ట్విట్టర్ వేదికగా అందరికీ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు.

ఇక రీసెంట్గా బెస్ట్ ఒరిజినల్ సాంగ్ కేటగిరీలో ఆస్కార్ అవార్డును గెలుచుకుంది ఆర్ఆర్ఆర్. ఈ సినిమాలోని 'నాటు నాటు' పాటకు గాను ఆస్కార్ పురస్కారం దక్కింది. కాగా ఆస్కార్ అందుకున్న తొలి భారతీయ గీతంగా 'నాటు నాటు' చరిత్ర సృష్టించింది. ఈ పాటకు ముందు ఎ.ఆర్.రెహమాన్‌ స్వరపరిచిన స్లమ్‌ డాగ్‌ మిలియనీర్‌లోని జై హో. పాట ఉత్తమ స్కోర్ విభాగంలో ఆస్కార్ దక్కించుకుంది. కానీ అది భారతీయ నేపథ్యం ఉన్న కథే అయినా ఆ చిత్రం మాత్రం బ్రిటిష్‌ రూపకర్తల నిర్మాణంలో రూపుదిద్దుకుంది.
