విద్యుత్ వాహనాలపై జీఎస్టీ 5 శాతానికి తగ్గింపు
విద్యుత్ వాహన రంగానికి భారీ ఊరటనిచ్చింది జీఎస్టీ మండలి. నేడు జరిగిన 36వ సమావేశంలో ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహనాలపై జీఎస్టీని 12 నుంచి 5 శాతానికి తగ్గిస్తూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. తగ్గిన పన్ను రేట్లు ఆగస్టు 1 నుంచి అమల్లోకి రానున్నాయి.

విద్యుత్ వాహనాలపై ఉన్న 12 శాతం జీఎస్టీని 5 శాతానికి తగ్గిస్తూ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది జీఎస్టీ మండలి 36వ సమావేశం. కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ అధ్యక్షతన వీడియో కాన్ఫరెన్స్ ద్వారా మండలి సమావేశమైంది. రాష్ట్రాల ఆర్థిక మంత్రులు, ఆర్థిక శాఖ ఉన్నతాధికారులు ఈ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్నారు.
విద్యుత్ వాహనాలపై జీఎస్టీ తగ్గింపు ఆగస్టు 1నుంచి అమల్లోకి రానుంది. ఎలక్ట్రిక్ వాహన రంగాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది మండలి.
స్థానిక సంస్థల నుంచి అద్దెకు తీసుకునే విద్యుత్ బస్సులపై జీఎస్టీ మినహాయింపునకు మండలి ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. విద్యుత్ వాహనాల ఛార్జర్లపైనా జీఎస్టీని 18 శాతం నుంచి 5 శాతానికి తగ్గించింది.
